How do you open the mirror to put in batteries? It wont twist off easily..

Twist the 10X side mirror along "Open" direction. 3. Pull the mirror faces apart and then place 4*AAA batteries(not included). 4. Does this mirror have a cord to plug in?

No. It takes barriers. I like the mirror but the light sucks
