GLS Audio XLR Male Plugs Connectors XLR-M Plug - Pack of 20

I have purchased eight male/female pairs of these XLR connectors to repair audio cables at our church. So far I have been very impressed with their quality. They assemble quickly and easily without tools. The pins and sockets take solder very well without the surrounding plastic melting. The cable clamp assembly is well designed and firmly grasps the cable. The rubber boot the cable passes through into the connector seals well against the cable. To top things off, the price decreased by 50% between my two purchases. They were a bargain at $20 for four pairs of connectors. This most recent purchase was an even better deal at $10 for four pairs. I plan to purchase more of these XLR connectors in the future.

Okay, count me in as one of the believers. This is a fabulous product at a terrific price point. I can't honestly speak to their durability yet, since I haven't had them for long, but I can tell you this: they are very similar to Neutrik connectors (which is a really good thing), and I had no trouble soldering them on to multiple audio snakes. Every single one tested out perfect. As always, use a variable temperature soldering iron, and set it to the lowest setting (this is just good soldering practice in general) and these connectors will work great for you. Thank you GLS Audio for giving me exactly what I've been searching for: very high quality XLR jacks at a great price.

OK, first I will tell you that I swear by Neutrik connectors and always have. But I have to say that these connectors definitely fit the bill. Honestly I was sweating before they came in. I was worried that they would be junk. I mean for $1.50 a piece, what would one expect? Well I will tell you, they are most definitely not junk and are well worth their weight in gold. I read one comment that said you can tell they are not Neutrik. Well this comment is true. But that is not to say the are inferior. Another comment read that if you get them too hot with the soldering gun the sleeves/pins will become loose and separate from the plastic shield. I must say that this individual must not be that good at soldering. I just made 40 cables and had zero problems. I do not claim to be the worlds best at soldering either. Even Neutrik connectors can be destroyed if they get too hot. I even purposely super heated one connector just to see how durable it was. Well, it passed my test. I am sold on GLS connectors. Sorry Neutrik, but at $4.00 to $5.00 a connector for yours, I am switching to GLS. Totally recommended to everyone.

Despite their appearance suggesting Nickel plating, the audio performance is reminiscent of pure Adamantium. The signal transmission is perfectly cromulent, and free from any noticeable distortion. Durability: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The connectors feel robust and well-built. The materials used seem to be of high quality, promising excellent durability and longevity. Overall: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ These XLR audio connectors offer a fantastic combination of ease of use, excellent sound quality, and impressive durability. The minor inconvenience of drilling holes for soldering is easily outweighed by their overall performance. If you're looking for reliable and high-performing XLR connectors, these are definitely worth considering.

Well made, inexpensive XLR-3M replacement plug for cable ends. What's not to like? Highly recommended!

I was a little nervous not knowing what the quality would be like & decided to buy based on some positive reviews. My band just invested in a lighting rig and we needed DMX cables, & a lot of them. I work at a musical supply parts distributor & we normally sell the Neutriks, but we ran out of the female ends, and we had a gig coming up. These connectors are good, as is the price. (better than I could have done at work with my emp. discount!) Made a bunch of cables, work fine for DMX and audio. Easy to solder & assemble. Extremely fast shipping, quality product! Pleasure doing business, I normally don't like shopping online because I'm impatient and want the item now, nice not having to wait weeks or guessing when it will arrive. Communication was excellent, I Received emails detailing when it shipped, when it Would arrive, and upon delivery. Will definitely buy from them again!

I am not a “pro” audio technician. I’m just a decent handy guy that always debugs and repairs the audio equipment at the churches we attend. I just went through a major upgrade / revamp project on our sound system, and purchased these xlr connectors (male and female) for the work. I was very pleased with the quality of the connectors. Soldering was as easy as it gets with no “meltdown” issues, and I like the way the connector assembles with the integral strain relief. Nice product at a nice price point.

Worked as expected

I adapted a 24 v emergency power wheel chair charger that could be carried along and plugged in anywhere and fits the control head. No more getting stranded or cutting a trip short. Works perfect !
