I use this freeze dried garlic regularly in cooking. Super flavorful, pretty much indistinguishable from fresh when cooked. Better than frozen types, and night and day better than dried. I just put what I need in a little bowl and add a bit of water to re-hydrate before cooking as for fresh. They are in very small pieces, which works well for me, but if you want crushed garlic, then may need to crush more. If need whole garlic cloves then obviously this won't work. Ginger is awesome... when get a little piece in a mouthful of a meal, it has all the ginger heat as if had used fresh. I have these on subscription.

Got sick of my fresh garlic drying out before I could finish using the bulb. This freeze dried garlic works great in a pinch when garlic powder won't do.'ll re-hydrate the garlic with a few drops of water in a tiny pinch bowl before using in place of fresh chopped garlic.No need to hydrate if using in soups or sauces. The flavor tastes like fresh. The bottle will stay fresh for a long time.

My 4th purchase of this garlic, although it isn't exactly as intense as fresh, it is perfect for stews, soups, gravies, sauces....anything I need a consistent size mince, or quickly put a meal together. If using in dressing or other uncooked foods, I let it "soak" in the liquid a bit before putting ingredients together. It doesn't completely replace fresh garlic for me, but I use it A LOT. Buying this product has set me into buying many of the maker's other freeze dried products!

I like a bit of garlic but not the strong fresh cloves. This stores easily in the fridge, use as much or little as I like. Have used this brand for years. Highly recommend if you do not want to bother with chopping garlic.

I had the pleasure of using this because I had no fresh garlic and a neighbor gave me some so I already know that it is a teaspoon is potent I love garlic I hate peeling it I will definitely keep some of this in my cabinet

This garlic is really great to add to sauces and ground meat. It also doesn’t hurt that it makes less cleanup than using fresh garlic
