Q: Is anyone having issues from stopping this sliding off when finished? I can't get it to stay on once I've removed the clip.

I watched a you tube. She put the two ends around the back and fastened. So I did that and fastened the clip onto it.

Q: Do you use these in wet or dry hair? And do I need to straighten my hair first?

I slightly dampened my hair with a fine spray mister, and I also didn't straighten my hair, just brushed it then wrapped it around the sponge. It actually turned out really well. I have naturally wavy/curly hair, but the night I tried this my hair had been blown dried straight that morning. Hope this helps.
