Zoo Med Can O' SuperWorms, 1.2 oz

My Bearded Dragons love these! Just got my order, opened the can and was very impressed by the size. They look exactly like the live ones & the Dragons ate them right up from my fingers. I put a couple in the food bowl with their veggies and they gobbled those up, too. I'm very pleased with these because I give my Dragons live SuperWorms daily, but since I live so far out in the country, we sometimes run out of the Superworms before we can get back to the pet store. This Can O'SuperWorms solves that problem. These are MUCH better than the freeze-dried worms & crickets I had been using. Now I can stock up for when we run out of the live ones.

I would normally have done a better rating but I didnt receive can o' superworms. I received can o' worms. They were so tiny for my beardie since she's used to the superworms. I don't think she can see very well anymore and these tiny worms made eating more challenging for her. I hope that when you order superworms you actually get superworms.

My oldest son has a bearded dragon, and she loves these. They feel really yucky to me to pick up with my fingers (yuck!), so I use plastic tongs to pick them up, and she immediately gobbles them up. If she hears us open the can, she immediately starts heading to her feeding bowl and it's almost like she starts licking her lips. These are one of her favorite "snacks".

My sugar Gliders love these things and it's easier than keeping live ones. I just wish you got more.

We like to offer our adult bearded dragon a variety of food proteins, so we added super worms to the rotation. He loves these canned worms. If he has a preference for live prey, he never lets on. He seems to hold these superworms in high regard. Or low regard, depending how you look at it.

Our adult Bearded Dragon and our painted turtle thought these were heavenly! Kinda gross looking when you first open the can, but I got use to it quick after I saw the happiness from the critters I was Feeding!!

The first can I opened lasted two days in the refrigerator before growing LOTS of mold. I contacted the manufacturer and they told me that was normal, and that I should remove any unused product from the metal can and place it in a plastic container. Then the product should last about six or seven days in the fridge. I would expect at least 10 to 12 days of refrigerated storage, but the manufacturer says that's not going to happen.Still, my RES turtle seemed to like the Super Worms well enough.

All worms were dead and smelled aweful!! I fed this can of worms to my trash can
