Can I purchase kids for the frying pans?

I don't think you can buy children to cook for you, however a personal chef could be a good alternative! Bahhhahahahaha! I think you meant lids but this was so funny at 6am this morning! I don't know if you can buy lids, google it.

Yes, the Cuisinart can be used like any other pan, but this set of Cuisinart is heavy and well constructed, so you most be care not to drop it on a vitro-ceramic it is more fragile than a glass cooktop.

Is this set glass top safe?

We only used the glass cover once and after heating took the cover off and was going set it on the counter (was holding the cover by the handle) and it exploded into a thousand pieces over the food, stove, counter, floor. What a mess to clean up.

ABSOLUTELY NOT DISHWASHER SAFE-you will end up with the bottom of the pan deteriorating, disintegrating-DO NOT BUY THESE!!! I recently contacted the manufacturer. about my $350 set..they sell these as dishwasher-safe, but I had my set 2 years only...I kept the insides of these pots/pans pristine, but the bottom of every single one of the pans began disintegrating-I cannot touch my pots and pans now without getting black soot like crud-like the stuff that comes out of a chimney all over my hands, towels, etc. Customer service was very rude and said they only cover manufacturers defects despite the fact that these were advertised as dishwasher safe. Again, DO NOT buy these-2 years later I found I completely wasted $350 and Cuisinart will do nothing to rectify the situation!
