Just the job for my glass nightime drinking jar.

This is the second lot of lids I've purchased. They are perfect for drinks in Mason jars. They last for ages, then when they start to rust I switch out the old one and pop it in the recycling. Totally value for money.

On initial inspection these appear to be very well made but in use a major fault appears. The hole in the center has not been sealed and has started to rust. Needs some form of of seal to prevent this.

Excellent lids

I looked everywhere for 70mm replacement Mason jar lids and I couldn't find them until I came across these. They fit perfectly and give my glass pineapple (in itself a hard-to-find item!) a new lease of life. All of these lids seem to rust over time but I used my last lid for about 3 years before it got too bad so I'm sure this pack of six lids will last me a long time. I think this item is great and at a very reasonable price. I'm happy :-D

Used only one from the set so far but became rusty after one week of use quite disappointing. It is in use every day for my daughter jar. Other wise they fit perfectly. They are not stainless still there is a paint inside the lid which peels off and the rust comes up.

I bought these to use for children to drink from their kilner type drinking jars. Where they are probably suitable for onetime use for canning fruit or jams when used constantly for drinks the inside under the lid goes rusty and black looking and the white paint rubs off. I thought they would be stainless steel. Will not buy again as have now found some really strong lids made of plastic.
