Moved to the Aquatic Life twist-in system about a month ago and have been very happy. One install diagram in their manual shows water flow it two directions of the same line, which made it confusing to install one back-flow valve, but I've been very happy with the system. After 3 or so weeks of use, TDS is still at zero. Recommended!

Myself and friends across the country use this system for our reef tanks, One thing we have discovered is that the filter life depends on your local water quality, for instance a friend in NYC gets about 2 months out of his Sediment and Carbon while I get 9 months. Over-all once you figure out replacement time these are simple to use and replace. I suggest you get a inline TDS filter to install post RO and one post DI to gauge when to change filters.

This one of the best RODI systems for the hobbyist because of its ease of use and the quality of the product. it’s easy to set up easy to install and easy to maintain I always get the best water quality for my Marine aquarium

I use these to maintain my 34 gallon aquarium. This consist of 5 gallon water changes + 5 gallons for the auto top off tank per week. This puts me at about 40 gallons a month. The filters only last about 3-4 months. I would think they should last a lot longer than 120-160 gallons. However on the bright side they are rely easy to change out.

Work as expected, fits R/O filter perfectly. I hitch I use to make saltwater for my saltwater aquarium. Check out on YT at electricblueaquariums.
