The North Face Women's Metropolis Parka, TNF Black, M

This coat has all the qualities of my beloved North Face 600, it is warm, does not feel heavy, the hood is big, fits true to size, pockets are roomy, and the length is exactly what we need: Enough coverage, not too short not too long.

I read all the reviews, searched all the things, compared all the brands. I did all the work for you. Just buy this one. GREAT quality. Perfect length. Very nice weight. Flattering stitching. Removable hood. I’m 5’2, 140lb, athletic build. The medium fits perfect with enough room to wear a sweater under.

The media could not be loaded. I loved this parka. Despite several reviews mentioning that the hoodie comes out easily, I actually tried to pull it out, and it was not easy. I ended up returning it today because I ordered size M (based on Amazon's suggestion), but it was kind of tight around the chest/upper back areas. Other than that, it's a nice coat. I just placed an order for a size L. Just for reference, I'm 5-4", 152 lbs, Chest/38, Waist/31, and Hips/44. I believe the large size will give be a better fit for me in the upper areas, although it might be a bit wide on the waist and hips. I'll make sure to post a review on the other one when it arrives.

The hood stays put because they changed the design to buttons instead.

Nice coat wrong size returned

Was not happy with my purchase! Did not like the fact that the tags were already taken off the jacket. Prefer I would have a brand new jacket for the money I paid!

Beautiful jacket but I battle with the hootie falling off all the time !!! Why can’t they just made it to stay,, it falls off EASILY…
