My grandson just turned 13 and I got it for his birthday. He said he liked it but, hey, you've got to say you liked grandma's gift. Right? The next day he texted me a pic of a drawing of a 3 dimensional egg. He learned how to do it in the little book that came with the set. Later in the day he sent me a pic of a painting of a tree in all seasons with the spring buds, at the bottom of the branches, summer leaves in the middle, fall leaves blowing off to the side and bare branches at the top. It was beautiful! His mother says he can't put it down. The easel is sturdy; the pencils sharpener & eraser are quality; the sketch pads are very nice; comes with a plastic paint palette; paints and brushes are pretty good.But, the best part is the instruction book. It really got him started. All I need to get him his a carrying case to hold all of his treasures. Very nice little set - especially for a beginner.

I really liked gifting this set to my son because it gave him a bunch of different medias to create with. the colors are vibrant and the quality is really nice

It was a gift for my daughter. Quick arrival time, neatly packed and a beautiful complete set for beginners or professionals. My daughter is so happy with it. She is not a professional artist but she does have some talent since she was a little girl. Now she paints almost everyday as her therapy. I also got her an Acrylic Paint Set.It seems that I will have to get another one. My granddaughter whose only four, keeps telling her Mom that she also wants to use it.

Gave as a gift for my 10 yr old Great Grandson. He couldn't even wait to take it home, opened it right where he was sitting. Had a small problem with the drawer on the Easel but as soon as I contacted them they shipped out a replacement to my Grandson's house.

Bought this as a Christmas gift for my almost 9 year old daughter. She’s very into art and has yet to pick her favorite medium. The stand was beautifully made and works well. The wooden box that holds the materials is nice as well. I wasn’t overly impressed by the quality of the materials inside the case but they’re better than normal “children” mediums like Crayola. Overall we would but this set again if it was a little cheaper. Nice, but not nice enough for this price.

Loved this product. I take it from my desk to my recliner, to outside- very portable. Has stood up to daily use well. Would definitely recommend this product. The kit with the pencils and the watercolors is OK. I haven,t used that part of it much as I'm focusing on the graphite right now. The brushes are OK. But I love the portable easel, and the paper and sketch books are great. This is a good kit for a beginner who is wanting to try out different mediums to see what interests them. Good for an older child to an adult just starting out. I do highly recommend the easel and the paper and sketch books. The rest I just haven't had a chance to play with yet.

All is very good, I got it for myself because of medical reasons I am stuck in a recliner all the time and I don’t have the room for a lot of things around it and this being thin I can put it beside the chair and get to it when I need it. I have to use it while I’m in the chair cause I can’t walk to the table ( also I am unable to use the kitchen chairs) I paint and draw, and use the colored pencils a lot. Right now between drawing and painting on the kitten, I am also crocheting a baby blanket for a gift. So I have 2 gifts I’m working on now and both items have supplies from Amazon.

We purchased this for our 13 year old daughter as an end of the school year gift. She is a homeschooler who always works very hard and drawing has become one of her favorite hobbies. She is always doodling and had recently asked for charcoal pencils. We came across this set and it is very nice. She is in love with it. She has already been drawing and wants to do some painting soon. Better than kids sitting in front of a screen. Totally worth the money 💰
