NAGAOKA MP Series MP-200 & MP-200H Replacement Stylus JN-P200

I purchased the MP-200 stylus to fit the MP-150 cartridge I have and I am as happy as a clam! More detail, stereo separation, and listenability. You will hear percussion parts you e never heard before. Drums will come alive; hi-hat and snare attack become more revealing. I used Sergio Mendes And Brasil ‘66 debut, and Steely Dan- Aja as my test recordings. You will notice a slight drop in lower bass frequencies, but it’s a trade off for the super tight, precise bass it delivers. I use a Schiit Mani phono preamp with my turntable and it’s a perfect combination. You will NOT be disappointed!

Hands down, Nagaoka carts and styli are the best values in audio equipment. Why spend more when you don’t need to. I paired the P-200 stylus with the MP-150 cartridge body on a Rega P1 turntable and the sound is crazy astounding. In my listening experience, it blows away carts costing hundreds more. Spend your savings on vinyl and other components or on a nice vacation (when we’re allowed to travel again). This combo is my forever kit.

Great tracker. Very detailed sound retrieval, great dinamics, and excellent mids. Great with female vocals and jazz. I bought the cartridge a few years back, and I have replaced the stylus several times because I love the sound so much. I have very revealing kef LS 50s and it is a great pair with this cartridge. There are no negatives, the only thing is that if you are into warm sounding gear, this may be too detailed and revealing for you.

Sounds amazing! I don’t know really what else to say. I replaced my 150 stylus with the 200 and sounds great to my ears. I am spinning a Technics SL 1100a and using a Moon 110LP v2 phono stage. Amazing!

Even on a MP-110 cartridge, the 200 stylus is a remarkable upgrade in sound from my previous MP-110 stylus.
