I live in an apartment on the 2nd floor. This hammock is very sturdy. The leg base is nice and keeps the hammock in place, no slipping. There is plenty of room for 1 person and 2 dogs (who love this hammock as much as I do). The weight limit is 500 so I guess 2 people could fit on this hammock. The top end of the hammock is higher than the foot, which makes for a very comfortable nap (on your side or back) or reading. When you get on you need to sit toward the middle vs the side as you may slip off. The fabric part of the hammock repels water which is nice since my hammock stays up until the winter. Assembly of this item was very easy. I would highly recommend this hammock. It is much sturdier and heavier than I thought.

Easy to assemble, light weight, good color. Since I didn’t want to leave it outside overnight, having it a snap to hang up, made it easy to bring in every evening. Nice, comfortable hammock!

It was very easy to assemble, and it is very comfortable and sturdy. However, it is not water resistant. After one day of rain, water first sat on top of the hammock without absorbing, but in the morning it had soaked all the way through. 3 days later, having constant sun when available, It has not dried out on its own. I can't believe I tried to cancel this order, but I thought it might not fit on my balcony. I'm so glad it was already shipped and I couldn't cancel, because it does fit just fine, and it's wonderful. I absolutely love it! And yes, the shipping was really fast.I put this together in less than 20 minutes and that was taking my time. Great simple design. I like that it has the rods & 2 chains for support rather than just one hanging hook, as it 's way more stable and much easier to get in and out of than most hammocks. Again, great design. It's my go to spot, I've even slept out on it. It's that comfortable. After having it for more than 6 months, I still love it, but it does have a problem with rain. I take mine down when I know a storm's coming. It takes literally less than a minute and won't be wet for 2 days, I'm planning on replacing the bed with my own summer rainy season version, but haven't figured out the proper fabric yet. I need quick drying but sturdy enough to not rip at the seams. Once I figure that out, I'll make a new one. Also, they raised the price on this a lot since I got it in January (2017). It was $80.00 back then.Update: July 2017. Great. I see they lowered the price back to $80. Well worth it. The bed of this is 32" X 78" with about 76" of that length usable. Slide the magazine pocket on before assembly, and turn it so you can reach it from inside. Also a good idea to place it by your head rather than feet. I may take mine apart to do that, so I can be extra lazy. This is a great hammock for people with balance issues, as it has almost no sway. I love mine.
