Dangerous / Hazardous / poor user interface setup
The device was only configurable by smart phone. On top of that the software is very hard to find in both the google play and apple app stores. Then the setup kept failing on my iPhone 12 pro max. I had to get out on of my older android phones just to get it to connect to this device.Device easily went past the 50*c rating on the instructions. I used my thermal imaging camera to see how hot this thing got on the outside when outputting 500w; the temp went up to 151*F or 61.111*C. It was so hot I almost burned myself.Because it was getting so hot I kept it inside connected to my panels where I have the ac on. So it was hitting 151*F with it 72* in the room. Hate to think what would happen if I left it outside in 90-100*F heat like it was supposed to do.This morning was the first test run after setting up yesterday and the device failed with in one hour.I wish amazon would attempt to do quality control on the products it sells to it's customers.Added on 08-24-2022:The replacement one arrived. I plugged it in today set it up with the software and only ran for a total of 5 minutes. Just stopped working. I even had a high powered fan on it to help keep it cool inside the house with it being 72*F because the prior one overheated.2 out of 2 failures is pretty bad..

2 —-700 watt micro inverters
After returning 2 inverters from Goldwater. They have stopped working.

Application docs poor, more affordable than big names
Product: WVC-700Lite (WiFi).My best apparent efficiency so far was about %75 of panel rating measured on a nearly clear day, Aug 22, 2022. This was with 4 x 100W NewPowa brand panels, 2 panels in series in 2 strings, one string each on the 2 string connections provided on the inverter.Measurements for above conditions: PV Input: 25.9VDC, 12.04A, 312W. Inverter Output: 126.9VAC, 2.23A, 284W.NOTE: it is industry practice to "de-rate" microinverters when applying them to a project. That means they provide more PV solar panel than the max rating of the inverter by up to 133%. Example: if a solar installer were to quote me a setup completely utilizing this 700W inverter, they would specify using about 900W worth of solar panels connected to it. This is for a variety of reasons, but include: the sun rarely provides YOU the standard 1000W/sq meter that PV panels are rated at. Solar panels work less efficiently when hot (in the full sun). And so on.In my setup, sun tracking (ie, aiming the panels straight at the sun) proved very important to performance. However sun tracking systems are almost never financially viable, if even possible for your installation.Other info:- Pairing (getting the inverter online to the Internet):-- PV panels MUST be connected and generating at least enough power to power the inverter.-- You must use the "Cloud Intelligence" app to initially pair to the inverter and later to monitor it.-- In the app main screen, tap the "+" icon in the upper right. Then tap "Add Manually" in the lower left of the "Auto Discover" screen. In the "Add Manually" screen, tap the "[-]" icon in the upper left, then scan the QR code in the instruction pamphlet or on the inverter (it's in both places).-- Then follow the pamphlet and on-screen instructions to get the inverter into the pairing mode (LED blinks rapidly)

Update 3rd! One dead . It made it almost 20days.
3rd one overheated. I added active cooling which helped allot. But it's still dead in less than 30daysDoesn't come with cable to tie in. So had to cut and crimp incuxed single cable. Software link is very flaky and barely works.First unit was DOA, 2nd lasted 6 days before heating up to 60c in overcast northeast. Then it only saw 240 volt grid when it was obviously on a 120v line. Will not give it a 3rd chance. Absolutely no custoer support at all. Return to Amazon while you have a chance. Can't imagine these are built to last past the 30 day warranty

Designed for failure
(1) units not designed with thermal dissipation in mind. Units regularly got to 61 degrees Centigrade.(2) blown IC chip. See burn mark. Chip completely melted.(3) poor warranty. Installed July 2022, dead Jan 2023. No option for replacement or repair. Compare Enphase’s 25 year warranty, to this one’s 1 month warranty.(4) software very poor.

240V
Works great so far, just make sure you hook it up to 240V source. Then you get anything from 120 to 240V.I have it connected to 2x250W solar panels-enough to feed my PC and lights daytime in the shop.

Dead in 30 days - no support/warranty - stay away
Deployed this and it worked fantastically - it was putting out 600-700watts daily for 2-3 weeks - then it just stopped working entirely - no lights at all - no signs of the grid - no signs any power even when the panels have light. As you can see in the photos - the capacitors look to be low quality - possibly already dead - a number of solder connections appear to have been heated up enough to burn their flux and in place possible desoldered/reset some board components. The entire thing smells of blue smoke.
