Q: If my dog is a chow and its between 2 sizes, which is better?

I guess I would order the bigger size. You can always trim them if they are too big.

Q: For those that have had success only...what did you do to best make them last besides keeping them dry. How to get best first stick?

I did it when her pads were dry, a few hours after she had already been outside. I cut mine up to fit on each pad.

Q: Will they come off when outside on dry grass for potty time?

Mine last for a couple days - I’d say 3-4 days max, 1-2 minimum with going outside and 2 walks a day on grass, asphalt and boardwalk. They stick pretty well, but they aren’t permanent. That’s why you get several in a package.
