Q: While wearing these is there an issue with wearing safety glasses? Do the safety glasses break the seal and reduce the sound dampening effectiveness?

Depends on the frames of the glasses. These could use with a tad thicker and softer padding for that reason but pair them with a decent set of glasses and indidnt notice an issue

Q: I want to hear other shots around me. Is the muzzle blast completely cancelled out, or is it noise reduced ?

The volume of the report is stepped way down, but not completely eliminated. You'll recognize it as a shot, but it'll be muffled like you have foam earplugs in. Regular audio is pretty crystal clear.

Q: Can I connect to my phone?

No. That would require blue tooth. If these had blue tooth it would come out and say it. These are still awesome !
