I don’t know if I got lucky, but everyone claimed how scratched theirs was and mine was in perfect condition. We bought this for my son’s teacher who lost her mom and it was the perfect little token to show we are thinking of her. The colors are bright and the words are clear. You can lay it down or stand it up. Only thing I’ll say is that it shouldn’t claim it’s glass. It’s thick plastic, but it’s nice.
