I was surprised at the very low internal volume of the urn pendant. Unexpected it to be hollow inside but it's just a 1mm hole drilled in the bottom and the plug is half the depth of the hole. So you're only getting about a quarter of an Advil capsule or less in there. But it does come with the correct funnel and a little tamper to pack ashes so it will work for that. Just use very little and be careful. I put a single strand of my daughters hair inside and it was very challenging. Until we figured out the trick. Using the little tamper included, wind the hair around it all the way and then insert itthe tamper onto the urn. Use a sewing needle to push the hair down inside and then pack it with the funnel so it's all below the threads. The plug has a rubber gasket so it will no leak water or air. And then pendant is basically solid stainless steel so it's not breaking or corroding. This is good because it needs to be able to survive the ocean with me. The included necklace is of finely woven leather. It looks and feels nice and is about 30 inches long. You adjust the length by sliding the two knots like a friendship bracelet. I like the necklace but I don't want to lose the pendant so I will making a double constrictors dyneema loop to replace it with. The pendant is about the size of my thumbnail and I have fairly large hands.. it's just right for me because I ndo not wear any jewelry except a watch. And I wanted something inconspicuous. This is just the right amount of shine and the size is perfect. Now I can keep my little girl with me everywhere I go.

Got it for my husbands ashes. It is engraved with his name. I never take it off. For the price I paid, it was amazingly well made. I was impressed.

The pendant will come off the rope easily. I couldn't figure out how it kept happening but when I did I sewed the rope together near the pendant. Can't come off now. The spoon thing didn't pick up any ash. I tried many times. The screwdrive will. They need a real spoon. It holds a tiny amount of ash. That's all I really wanted. Just some. Overall, with the adjustments I made, it's pretty cool. Sew the rope or it will come off!

This Urn is a perfect size and rests nicely on the chest. Feels well made and has a nice weight to it - you can feel it against your chest, but it’s not overbearing. Just enough to know it’s there. Holds a very small amount of material, but that’s just fine. Doesn’t need to be a lot as I know he is with me at all times. Most importantly it doesn’t look like what it is, so it’s not screaming urn to everyone that sees it.

This necklace is better than I expected. It looks nice and you would never know it’s got a secret . It holds ashes.

Bought this as my dad recently passed and wanted to hold his ashes in it. I had it a week and the pendant has already come off somehow and is gone. I am so upset. I am requesting a replacement.

A lovely way to remember your pet is this necklace. I’d say it’s more for men but females can wear it too,it’s unisex really. The tiny screw removes easily and you can put hair or ashes inside the vessel inside the necklace. My husband removes it when he showers because we’re not sure if waterproof. We lost our dog almost 2yrs ago in May and it’s still as good now as it was then and hasn’t lost any of the wording. We miss her so much so it’s a nice way to remember her.

I’m so happy with my new ashes necklace. Although it is tricky getting the ashes to fill into the tiny hole, with a steady hand and tapping it a wee bit at a time I managed it. I now have my sister close to my heart forever. The leather choice is perfect for my taste however I am pleased that I can change to a silver chain if I wished to. It’s a modern design that won’t date and would definitely recommend.
