LOTS of steam! Recommended.
* Pros: It puts out plenty of steam, and glides smoothly over the surface. It really has cut my ironing time in half — you only have to go over each section once and it's perfect, and it does two layers at once. It's not noisy enough to drown out anything else eg the TV, radio etc. And the noise is only when you press the button for steam, not continuous. The iron itself is light, and you don't have to press down hard to make up for that as the steam does all the work - this would be perfect for anyone who struggles with ironing eg because of a bad back. The cord storage is good and tidy, even with a socket to slot the plug in so it's not hanging loose — I wish more manufacturers would do this!*Cons: the advertised size of tank is misleading, you have to refill it when there is about 1-2 inches left in the bottom because of the way the intake is designed — annoying when you think you have plenty of water left! The base unit is quite heavy, I don't think I'd want to put it on my ironing board, so I just keep it on the kitchen counter right next to the board and it works fine. If lifting things is a problem, you might think twice before keeping it any distance from where you iron. The power cable is quite short. You can't stand the iron up on its end, and I wouldn't want to leave it flat on the board because the stiff steam cord and slippery bottom might lead it to pull off. You might want either an ironing board with a tray/holder for your iron, or a clip-on cable holder if you like to leave your iron flat inbetween sections.Overall — yes, I would recommend this and I think it really will make a massive difference to my willingness to get the ironing done! Totally worth the price to get a good one that does the job properly.

Great iron!
Superb iron steam generator. Cord and plug wrap on base. Large water tank easy to empty. Removes all creases from heavy cottons easily. Light to use. Safe handles to move and safely store away. Only slight negative is you ah e to place the iron in correct position on rubber grips when moving fabric about but expect I will get use to that!

This is my second of these.
I dropped my first one and damaged it, so I've bought a new one. Had the first for over 2 years and enjoyed ironing ever since. It's steam is very powerful. The only setback on the newer model is, they've added a very unnecessary heat setting. My first would iron anything on high steam from the finest lace. This one shrivels even heavier fabric on high steamI will of course adjust to it. I wouldn't buy any other than Russel Hobbs ever again.

Don't buy, struggling to find replacement anti scale cartridges so can't use.
Its a iron it does its job but it comes with one regularly replaced part, the anti scale cartridge which has to be replaced every half a year for the product to function properly. Only problem is its difficult to source any new cartridges. So you might as well spend £200 for a iron you have to replace twice a year. Don't buy.
