Perfect fig, definitely waterproof
Got to wear it this past weekend for snow play. It kept me dry. Fabric was still dry after sitting in the snow.As for fit, I’m 5’3 1/2 tall and weigh about 114 lbs. it is a bit snug at the waist, but I was wearing jeans underneath, so it fit perfectly.

First bought in 2013, then bought a lot more over the years
Wow, today I received my EIGHTH pair of these fantastic yet inexpensive Arctix ski pants, even though my first pair (patched up now after nine years) just came out of the closet for the winter. We live on a homestead and heavily rely on them while doing outdoor chores for at least three hours daily when temperatures drop below freezing. These are certainly my choice for bottoms when temperatures hover around zero degrees... on those days I also wear extra-thick fleece leggings with sherpa lining underneath. So as the first few years went on with my first pair of these ski pants, it finally dawned on me that having TWO pairs each winter would allow for rotating one in the washer and one for wearing during the week. Then I loved them so much that I bought several pairs for my husband. Then... starting a couple of years ago, I started buying extra pairs that we keep in our long-term storage room for not just for both of us, but also as possible future gifts for our friends if they need them during ice storms or power outages (this has happened for four to even five weeks at a time in this remote area). These incredibly warm pants do quite well indoors too when the electricity goes out and electrical heating thus fails.Times are getting pretty hard nowadays with inflation and a bad economy in play, so when I saw my beloved Arctix ski pants on a flash-sale for $37 I literally smashed down on my "buy" button -- wow, the first pair I bought in 2013 cost $56.90 and have since proven to be worth every penny, I'd do it again even at that higher price. Yes, I've had to patch that original pair a number of times after unexpected encounters with barbed wire fences and crazed giant livestock guardian puppies, yet I'll still wear them this coming winter. Along with my second pair! One in use, the other in the wash during any given week during the winter. Husband uses the same system himself: two pairs for each winter. FIVE STAR PRODUCT!

Tall girls! They're actually long enough!!!
I have lived in Colorado my whole life, and have been an avid skier for many of those years. Now, I mostly use snow pants to play with my 5-year-old son in the snow. Regardless, these pants are amazing! As a tall woman (5'11"), I've dealt with ski pants that are either too short, look like men's pants, or a combination of both my entire life! This is the first pair of ski pants I've owned that looks cute like a woman's pair and is ACTUALLY long enough! I got the medium (33 inseam) and weigh around 138 pounds. They're a little loose but I like them that way so I can layer underneath. The waist is adjustable, too. They seem warm and to be well made. I haven't tried them in the snow yet, so I'll update then. If you're tall like me, just buy them!!! I can't believe they're purple, too! Cute snow pants for tall girls in a color other than black? I'm not kidding!

Great for Tall Gals but sizing is off
Being tall, it's always hard to find snow pants long enough. It's great that there is an option for tall girls like me ( I'm 5'10 with long legs). The pants themselves are a beautiful color and well made. They have pockets and on the lower legs there are zippers to expand the boot part of the pants which is a nice option if you had larger boots.A couple of issues with them for me:The sizing is a bit wonky and no elastic waistbandI ordered up to an XL long. I was able to get them on, the length is great on them. But there is no elastic waist band on them to give it a little extra stretch. They almost remind me of if you were wearing dress pants where the waistband is one size and has no extra stretch to it. Being postpartum 9 months, I still have some pregnancy weight in the stomach area. These snow pants didn't allow for me to button them with a little extra weight. I ended up exchanging them for 2XL longs. Those did fit, but a similar issue with trying to button them. I really wish they would add some elastic to the waist band this would greatly help out. Not all women have perfectly flat stomachs. The length is perfect for the tall women out there. I think these snow pants would fit more women if there was the option to have an elastic waist band to give a little more room in them. My old snow pants had an elastic waist band in it which was great. But they are too small now. Hense why I was looking for a new pair.I decided to keep the snow pants in the hopes over time I will lose more of the pregnancy weight and then they will fit.

Good ski pants for a great price
I have used these for a few ski days now and they are great for the price. Enough insulation for days on the mountain with temps in the upper 20's to upper 30's with only a thin base layer/leggings. Haven't had any days colder than that yet, but I'm sure with a little more layering underneath, they would be just fine in much colder temps. My only complaint is the closure system. The Velcro on the inside seems unnecessary and is a bit annoying, and I would prefer a snap over the slide closures (idk what they are called), but that's just my preference. The Velcro tighteners on the sides dont seem to do a lot, but they help a little.

Inaccurate sizing.
The build seems quality. The latches above the zipper are weird and just spin around freely. I bought the same brand for the snow pants overalls and the fit in these pants for the same exact size is SO MUCH TIGHTER. I couldn’t even fit thin leggings underneath so I wouldn’t stick to the lining when I sweat. I couldn’t bend over at all. Disappointed. Definitely size up.
