Yes, it should work for that thickness. However, my only concern would be after multiple uses it could cause damage to your cards. The mechanism for holding paper in this model is steel balls, and they work great. I use this unit outdoors on my hot dog cart in all kinds of weather and things hold tight in 30 mph gusts, but unless I am very careful removing my order slips from the unit, they do not hold up. Hope this helps.
