Our 3M(TM) Roloc(TM) Disc 977F provides the highest level of performance for dimensioning parts, deburring, grinding and blending welds, and grinding and finishing castings and forgings, offering the potential for a significant boost in work productivity. The heavyweight backing supports high-pressure applications, a consistent cut-rate, and both wet and dry applications. The disc is resin-bonded to withstand high heat and pressure. A grinding aid reduces grinding temperatures to protect heat-sensitive alloys such as stainless steel and nickel alloys. 3M(TM) Ceramic Abrasive Grain is a 3M proprietary ceramic mineral chemically engineered with a unique stay sharp crystalline structure, which continually reveals fresh cutting edges on the surface of the workpiece ensuring an exceptionally fast and sustained cut. Formed through a process to enhance toughness and hardness of the grain, 3M ceramic abrasives offer a longer service life than non-ceramic abrasives, and can stand up to high pressure production environments even on the toughest materials.
