Worked like a charm
I was eager to use this device since I had let my baby grow talons while we waited for our Amazon package arrival. By the time I located some AA batteries and gave it a shot, it was 10pm and the little guy was asleep. At first I tried it on my own finger, figuring out the angle and when use would be uncomfortable on the skin. Then I laid baby down on the boppy in front of me and started on his tiny toes. When I tell you that my eight month old DIDN’T WAKE UP after ten toes AND ten fingers, I am NOT exaggerating. Shock. I am in utter shock! His nails are short, no spiky corners just waiting to catch my face skin in an attempt to fillet me open. No chipped edges that will catch on his favorite blanket and tear his precious little cuticle. Just soft, rounded, nails on chubby baby fingers.Why didn’t I buy this thing sooner?!

Amazing to use on my baby girl!!
I would recommend and buy as baby shower gifts any time. I love it. Baby nails are a challenge (scares me) to clip and this solved that problem.

Do not buy this. It does not work. It doesn't file anything and if you don't hit at the perfect angle, it starts to freak out because it's catching the nail weird.

A life saver!
So thankful I found this. My baby has always hated having his nails cut and now since he is 4 months he refuses to sit still when I cut them so I was always scared to do it. My last straw was Monday morning when he scratched me TERRIBLY so I got on here and looked for options. This arrived today and I used it on him with no issues! The light could be better but I am 100% okay with it with how good the file works for him. I sent this to all of my mom/mom to be friends! Wish I would’ve gotten it sooner!

Perfect for newborns
Love this, and works so well for my newborn baby. Brought it to the hospital with me trimmed her nails. She didn’t even notice and the soft yellow tip is very delicate for baby and the harder one works for me!

Good nail trimmer
It's a little bit tricky to file my 4 week old sons finger nails, some of his skin got grazed during the process which I didn't know was going to happen because the file for babies is so fine. But overall, much better than using normal nail clippers for adults. The accessories are very handy too. I ended up using the glass emery board to file his nails and the plastic tweezers come in handy for picking out bats in the cave!
