Slow but effective for 90% of scars
It has been working on my skin.

Bandages
This is the best bandage, I have ever used. It stays on, doesn't move and you can take it off to shower or wash your face, then put it right back on and that works well for several days. It also helps with lessening. I recommend!

Very pleased with these scar sheets
I had carpal tunnel surgery on my left hand in February. While I wasn’t concerned about the appearance of my scar (inside of my wrist), my physical therapist (seeing for me knee) voiced her concern over the amount of scar tissue that was developing. This was 5-6 weeks post surgery. She told me that an excess amount of scar tissue buildup at the incision site, could put pressure on my radial nerve, which would negate any benefit I received from the surgery. So in addition to doing scar massage (to keep the scar from adhering to the surrounding tissue), I purchased these scar sheets and began using them. My scar was fairly small so each of the 1.6” x 3” sheets could be cut up into 8 smaller sections that were large enough to cover my scar. I primarily wore the patch at night. I secured it with two pieces of Durapore fabric tape not only to keep it in place also to protect it from gathering lint from my bed sheets. I found that if put a piece of the fabric tape on the back surface of the scar pad and then cut the tape down around the edges of the scar patch, the patch was easier to handle…..less likely to fold in and stick on itself. I still would secure the patch to my wrist with the two strips of tape so it wouldn’t come off while I was asleep. Having the fabric tape backing on the scar pad also made it easier to remove the other strip of tape used to secure it from the back of the pad. I can’t say how long it took for the scar to “disappear” because sometimes I would forget to wear the patch or I might only have it on for a couple of hours that day. The thickness of the scar diminished greatly. The scar was like a hard bump when I began wearing the patches and now the scar tissue is very pliable. If you are careful with the patch, they will last a long time. If the pad does start to lose its stickiness, using medical tape in conjunction with the pad will allow you to get more use out of it. If you wear these patches and you sweat or they get wet (prolonged exposure to water), they will come off. It is important to wash them when they get any kind of fuzz/lint on them. Be sure and use cold water because the silicone becomes more sticky/pliable with heat and you will end up rubbing the silicone off instead of just the debris stuck to the surface. I would also occasionally use regular rubbing alcohol to clean the pads because the oil from your skin will also cause them to not stick as well. This may not be advisable but I don’t feel like it was detrimental or changed the effectiveness of the scar pad. I have used these scar patches for other areas of my body, as well. I am always banging and scraping myself when working in the yard and when you get older (I’m in my 50’s), scars tend to stick around longer than when you are younger. Because I was more concerned about the build up of scar tissue vs. the appearance of the scar, I continued to wear the patches after the surface scar was gone. Scar tissue will continue to develop for up to a year after trauma, so I am still using the patches a couple of days a week on my left hand. I just had carpal surgery on my right hand 3 weeks ago. As soon as my incision was completely healed….15 days post surgery….I started wearing a scar patch. Since I started wearing the patch much earlier on this wrist, I expect faster/better results.

Good quality and value scar cream
I have only been using this for a week so don’t yet know how effective it will be on scars from a recent surgery but am optimistic. A little of this cream goes a long way. It spreads easily and absorbs/dries quickly. It does not feel sticky after use. There is no discernible scent which is important to me. So far, so good. Assuming it performs well, the price is very reasonable.

Less Visible than Tape, But more Work
I have had this product for three weeks now. I also have the Silicone Scar Tape by the same manufacturer so please look for that review as well. I used this product instead of the tape for the first week. It is easy to apply and feels nice going on. It does take longer to apply than the tape as the directions say to massage into the area for 2-3 minutes which seems long. Also, the tape can be applied once and left on for days where this product says it should be applied 2-3 times per day. I have not used this product long enough to discuss how it works on scar healing. I am starting to try it on older scars and so I will update on that in the future if I stick with it long enough. The one very nice aspect of this product is that it dries completely clear. You can feel it is there with your fingers, but it is not visible which is not the case with the tape. This is good for hiding the product while using it, but I am not sure how best to protect the scar from the sun as it is completely clear. The tape is very much not clear and so I assume it is providing better sun protection. If you are looking for a scar healing product that is not visitable and do not mind having to apply it more often and can protect the scar from the sun by other means, this is a very nice product, assuming it functions as stated and will actually improve/remove scars. (Note: I was asked by the distributor to write this review. I have only commented on the parts I was able to attest to personally and I stand behind those comments.

Definitely a product I’ll keep buying!
I I’ve purchased this scar gel four times, twice for myself and twice for friends. It helped make my scars nearly disappear, and both friends I gifted it to were just as impressed. Definitely a product I’ll keep buying!

Great sale price...
Scar gel is definitely new for me-that's why i'm only giving it 3 stars. I guess it is what it is. Did make my eye burn a little at first use but the scar runs down my face and across from my eye and i made sure not to get it in my eye. Will continue use.
