I'd give this 10 stars if I could! My finger tips got rough from over exposure to UV light (for gel nails) and got extremely dry/crusty and super sensitive! I thought I was going to need medical ointment. I did some research (with the help of chatgpt lol) and found this amazing healing product! I put it on before bed with cotton gloves to lock in the moisture and its transformed my nails in just a few days. It also helped my eczema break out on my hands! The texture went away after 48hrs. It takes a good squeeze to get it out of the bottle lol but a little goes a long way. This is worth the money and should be in your skincare!

First winter ever without bleeding hands. And not only that, but my hands aren’t even dry, or itchy, or red, or burning. Nothing! Just my hands. My cuticles have even healed. I slather this on very heavily every night at bedtime and I wear a pair of cotton gloves (made for this purpose). Tip if these gloves annoy you in pre-sleep hypervigilance: cut the fingers off up to first knuckle (game changer). Completely soaks into my hands overnight. First time user; definitely a keeper. (I also use my fingers that remain out of the cut gloves to rub any lingering product into my lips and aging skin areas on my face and I have returned a bare faced glow (even if I am beginning to look my age!).

I have really bad itchy eczema dry skin in the winter. For the past year or so it continued into the summer, so I have been dealing with this frustrating issue for quite a while. Sometimes it gets so bad I end up scratching my skin until it starts bleeding and I have been desperate for an affordable solution that doesn't involve doctor's appointments to fix. I've tried lotion after lotion after lotion. From CeraVe Intense Moisturizing lotion to Amlactin Intensive Healing lotion. Nothing had been working. After discovering that ointments are much better for constant skin irritation than your standard lotions, I bought this and I am so thankful that I did. For the first time ever, I have been able to see immediate improvement in my skin when I apply this at night. The itching is soothed so quickly after applying, and it helps me sleep instead of being kept up all night from scratching. It is so nice to wake up in the morning with little to no itching or burning. I would need to apply lotions 24/7 to even see a fraction of the results I see from this in just two nights. I am bad at consistent use of almost anything but when I go too long without using this it is very obvious which makes keeping up with consistent use so easy. Sometimes I even apply this to my lips at night before sleeping and it works so well for incredibly chapped winter lips if I do that for a couple nights. It may be a little sticky and the consistency is a little thick in comparison to lotion, but the results are well beyond worth it for me. I would recommend this to absolutely anyone with harsh painful itchy skin. It has been a miracle worker for me all winter long. The tub lasts quite a long while and a little goes a long way, so the size is perfect. And it doesn't have any noticeable scents or fragrances which makes it even more compatible for sensitive skin and people with sensitive noses which is a huge plus.

I love cerave products ! This ointment has basically changed my skin! I used it every night the last step of my skincare routine, it seals all hydration throughout the night ! I used to have severe dry skin during winter time is worse ! Especially during indoor heat and outdoor wind. My cheek will look very red and dry like I had rosacea! Since I found this ointment , OMG, no more dryness on my cheek when I wake up every morning! My face look glowy without oily! I have used it all over my face ! It doesn’t cause breakout or clog pores! I bought it for my mom, she even noticed her wrinkles Is less obvious! I think everyone should try this and have it as stable in the house !

Comes out like lithium grease, and smooths out like fine butter. Comes out an opaque white, and smooths out to a clear see-thru film. Very tacky stuff that holds a firm shape when coming out of the container. Wipes on easily. No real scent to speak of. When I read on the back of their "healing ointment" that it was 46.5% petrolatum as the active ingredient I was highly skeptical that it'd actually work... I had tried probably 6 other products to try and cure a spot in a bad region that was continuously itching and keeping me awake at night it was so bad... Tried the CeraVe healing ointment, and while it didnt make the problem go away immediately, I did notice a significant reduction in itching and a big improvement (but not complete solution) in comfort within the next couple days...

I was convinced this was going to feel greasy, but I was wrong. It goes on thick, then sinks in and leaves my skin feeling really soft and smooth, not oily. It’s been great for dry spots and irritated skin, especially when my skin needs extra help. A little goes a long way, and it actually does what it’s supposed to do. I keep coming back to it.

I read a lot about this salve online before I purchase it and I was a bit skeptical because everyone seemed to rave about it but I have to agree with the consensus, it is great. You can basically put it on anything minor skin related and it soothes and heals. I have tried other balms but I like this one better because it seems very gentle but also powerful. Highly recommend!

This ointment is really a miracle for itchy skin! I been using benzoyl peroxide cleanser and I follow up with my A ret cream after skin care which caused my skin to be extremely dry and itchy at night time, it’s really working amazingly without clogging my pores or breaking out my skin!
