Excellent glass at a great price!
VERY impressed with the Vortex Ranger HD R/T 10x50 binoculars. Bright crisp clear glass, color spectrum is great. Blows away my Nikon Monarch set IN EVERY way possible, better colors & almost as clear as my Leica Geovid binos that cost 6x more $$! Mil ranging reticle works perfectly, that was the main reason I chose these binos. Can't beat the unconditional Vortex VIP Warranty either. I am very satisfied with my purchase & highly recommend this for others.

Good quality
I love most everything about these binoculars. The only thing I would change is the cover for the eyepieces… it’s not easy to put on.

Very nice binoculars
I had mine a few years now with zero issues. Had taken them hunting for at least two seasons with a large enclosed chest harness. I also use a Vortex 18x56 Kaibab, 10x50 Steiner with range finder, 10x40 Bushnell Legend, and a 10x32 Leopold. In the day time I don't see any advantages from one or the other. All are built for different purposes. At night I think the vortex 10x50 are better. Never looked through the Vortex Razors, I am assuming those are even better. If I plan on walking over one mile then I take the 10x32s. If I plan on shooting targets at unknown distances then I prefer the heavy as hell Steiner's. If I'm hunting with a Quad, or hunting blind, or less than a mile then I prefer the 10x50s. The 18x56 so far have only been good at the beach or on vacations. My 10x40 Bushnell are probably ten years old all beat up. I retired them by keeping them in the car for the unexpected. I feel that the 10x50 vortex R/T is a good combination type binocular that can be used in place of everything, with that said 10x50 is a little large for a heavily wooded area. I think in a heavily wooded area you are better off with 8x40s or 8x50s.
