I am a life long guitar player and have just finished working through the first level lessons. The book has nicely stepped lessons covering the many flamenco forms and comes with accompanying audio, video, and good notation in both standard musical notation and guitar tab.. Even the beginning lessons give you some fun musical ideas while introducing various skills. I'm looking forward to work my way through all the lessons.

A bit disappointed in this one after playing the first flamenco book. The level of difficulty or interest does not build nearly as quickly and the songs just aren't as fun. Almost half of the book I will never use whereas there is plenty in the beginning of the technique book that I still go back to because it’s easy and fun. I’d recommend skipping this one. Hoping for better from the second technique book. The Yago book is a much better addition to the Juan Martin technique books.
