I have long been a fan of Plano boxes - rugged, spacious, well designed, fairly priced. I was 'concerned' when I couldn't find another 'big yellow' box (I have three). This one is the nominal replacement for the earlier model and it is an excellent tool box. I needed a longer (22+") box for a particular tool, and that fits nicely in the top tray. The slip-in organizer boxes are very useful for small parts / tools. I looked at a number of other tool boxes, at several box stores, and this one was the best value in terms of capacity, features and cost.

I love this tool box!! The simple latches, the simple parts boxes. The sturdy handle. The long removable tray. I have plastic Plano boxes from 23 years ago that I still use daily. I'm really glad I found this one!

I would recommend getting out your tape measure and understanding how bit this is...to me the picture did not portray exactly what a monster you are getting. That being said, I like the removeable small bits carriers on the top. If you have extra long tools, this is a great choice. I have not loaded this heavy yet though so can't say how well the handle will hold since this is a big box with lots of room to store stuff.

My friend asked if I would order for him. He is marine mechanic by trade and needed toolbox that would hold enough tools when moving from one boat to another that was sturdy and big enough to carry variety so not having to go back to truck all the time for more tools. Said it works great for him

This box is a classic design and no made of brittle plastic

box is too narrow. falls over if not against something. I got this to put circular saw in, but it is too narrow. falls over in truck bed when making a corner. none of my other boxes do that. a standard size circular saw does not fit even though description picture shows one in it. it bulges out the front and back. it is also flimsy. I would return it, but amazon return policy cost too much, so I am stuck with a piece of junk

It was not obvious from the product photo and description that it included translucent little boxes imbedded on the upper outside of the lid. For me these are not useful, get in the way of a sturdy upper surface, and eventually (I guess) will break. If Plano thinks little organizer boxes are desired than they should be sized to fit on the inside, and leave a clean/simple surface on the outside.

This is my 2nd purchase of this toolbox. The 1st one that I bought lasted me over 10 years using and abusing it for an average of 5 days a week. So why wouldn't I buy another one. It is surprisingly durable for being constructed of almost 100% plastic. Hopefully this one lasts as long as the 1st 🤞
