Good product and good price thanks

I used these Bates foam brushes to apply a oil based varnish/stain and then a clear topcoat. They hold the finish well and apply it evenly for a streak free look. The foam didn’t break apart but maintained its size and shape even after three paint thinner cleanings. They are a great product at a great price!

Good quality, however could be slightly more flexible design

They’re too long (at 2.75”). Wish I had checked the brush LENGTH before I ordered. Wasn’t worth returning 'cause they’ll still work. I wish they were 2” long, and I did purchase 2”-long brushes, in the 40-pak last year, but those brushes fell apart too easily. These seem sturdier, altho I haven’t used one yet. I get multiple uses from these, either by washing them out (when using them for latex primer or paint) or storing them in a snack bag (for oil-based primer use). For the latter, I need to cut off some of the stem so they’ll fit in the snack bag (which I didn’t have to do with the 2”-long brushes).

Used for rod building - cork sealing. Applying sealer. Worked fantastic. Will buy again.
