Soft Pretzel Mix 2 Bags: Dutch Country Soft Pretzels

My kids fell in love with the pretzels. They soft and delicious. I let my bread machine do all the kneading. Only needed to add warm water and the packet of yeast which was included.

I have missed my weekly visits to the mall for warm and wonderful soft pretzels. Being old I stay home and rely on Amazon for most of my purchases. This pretzel mix fulfills all my cravings. Just follow the well written instructions, you need to have baking soda on hand, and you really can't go wrong. I made the first batch just for hubby and me, then made the second batch to share with friends. Left warm pretzels in cute containers at their doors, rang bell and ran away. Everyone loved them. Only suggestion is add salt before baking and brush with butter right after baking. I like to eat with cheese whiz but are yummy just by themselves. Highly recommend.

Comes with the salt too!. Easy instructions. Taste great.

Best make and bake yourself mix I have used so far. My family loves the giant pretzels from shops and this mix is just as good if not better tasting. They love these so much it’s become a once a month thing at our house. (They would like them once a week but settled for once a month)

My hubs is from Philly and he misses the soft pretzels.I bought the 2 bags and made 1/2 of one bag (made 6 pretzels).They were super good.I will make this again and buy this again.

I did not read the label before ordering it. After I tasted the pretzels, I checked the label because they were too sweet. The mix contains 140g sugars including 60g added sugar. The pretzels I bought in Philadelphia and local bakers in NH were all salty, not sweet. Anyway, if you don’t like sweet pretzels, this product is not for you.The reason for the one star rating, is also because of the packaging issues. One bag was broken, though only a small hole, the mix was leaking. Another issue is the missing packet of yeast in one bag of the mix. In that bag, there were two packets of salt without the yeast. So I opened the other bag and found one yeast and one salt. So I used the yeast from the bag and measured it to learn how much yeast I should use to make the pretzel.Anyway, I would not buy it again.
