Using this on a VX6-R and its perfect, not much of a strap though...threw that piece out.

My radio set fits perfectly. Seems to be sturdy and would last me a long time. It is a little bulky since I'm not wearing this with any tactical vests or belts. I use the straps provided to clip around my waist. I like it and it does what I need it to do: hold my radio.

An interesting design, this holder comes with 3 straps which allow you to sit the radio on your shoulder securely in place. This makes it easier to hear and to respond to without having to use a headset.It has plenty of attachment points for if you want to use a third-party strap or attach additional objects onto it, and the buckle and elastic combination hold the radio securely into the pouch in use.The material is stretchy enough to conform to most sizes of radios, though like most other pouches, there's not quite enough room to have a radio (in my case, the Baofeng UV-5R) in the pouch with the belt clip also attached to the back of the radio.Seems durable enough, though I'll update this review if I encounter any problems with it.

While the UV82 fits in the holster you cannot access the front panel.
