I recently purchased this pedestal fan, and overall, I’m quite impressed with its performance. The power is incredible—it provides strong airflow that’s perfect for keeping cool during the UK summer. Even on lower settings, it does a great job of circulating air efficiently.However, the design leaves a bit to be desired. The base looks and feels a bit cheap, though thankfully, it’s mostly covered, so it’s not too much of an eyesore. If aesthetics aren’t a priority, this fan is a fantastic choice for its cooling power alone.For anyone looking for a high-performing fan without worrying too much about looks, this is definitely a solid option!

The only saving Grace was their response in providing a missing assembly piece. Did not come with a stand so took a few days to replace. Other than that, probably most disappointing purchase in my Amazon history. Fan was super loud and vibrated my already unstable top floor floorboards, which was only minimised slightly by tightening of the screws. Fan itself is quite flimsy so air is not circulated effectively. Not even after trying all the tricks of the trade, including a bucket water to a wet towel. Pretty pathetic in all - Was far too hot from the heatwave I didn't even have the energy to disassemble and return. Waste of time and money.

I had to replace a 30 yr old very well made Chrome Metal unit whose motor finally gave up. I wanted good quality but not spend a fortune as its just for mainly summertime usage to cool a 16 ft x 16ft square room.I looked at the cheapest ones first and generally they all looked about the same , ex China, with simple common controls, without paying 2/3 times the price for extras etc.Two things stood out from peoples comments that affected my choice- #1, the controls on the pedestal upright were preferred to those with 'round the back' of the fan on the motor casing.- #2 The crossed legged feet of some stands made the whole unit a bit wobbly and unstable.A solid circular base like my old one seemed sensible.This unit overcame both those points for a little extra outlay, and to me shows the comments to be correct imo.This unit is easily assembled , is light , sturdy and very quiet. It is very powerful in that in our room only setting one is needed (I think it would fly off if I went to 3 ). The base is weighty and well balanced.It is still in its early days for durability , but if the motor lasts properly this is an all round good unit.

Pretty much easy to assemble, the instructions really only showed a plan of the various fan parts, for some people I can imagine they may struggle as I did before I realised the piece that holds the fan blade on the shaft is if course REVERSE thread. I could have kicked myself after struggling to screw it up for 10 minutes 🤔😁🤣 so everyone remember anti clockwise to tighten it up. 🙄However it works great, is stable on its stand, has a wide degree of oscillation, is quiet, I'd be able to sleep with it on in the summer.So all in all I say...yep it's good.

I bought this for my teenage son's room, he had a small desktop fan for warm weather and because he has a gaming PC kit and his room gets frequently warm.He was always trying to pinch my pedestal fan out of my bedroom, which was better and quite high tech. I love my son very much, and give him the world.... but selfishly would not let him pinch my fan!! 😂😊And so I bought him this, as I didn't want to spend too much, but wanted to ensure he had a decent enough fan, similar to mine and better than his desktop one.It absolutely exceeded my expectations!!! It's a really good fan, very fast and perfectly cools his room. In fact, he had it on setting 3, and whilst I was getting something from his room, I had to tell him to just use it on setting 1 as it was blowing too powerful and it proved setting 1 was more than enough!I reluctantly have to admit, I did ask him last night if he wanted to swap fans... he refused!! 🙄😂

Ordered this yesterday, arrived roughly 20 mins ago 🙂. Easy to assemble, very sturdy, appearance is good. Up and running & it is very quiet. Nothing to fault on this fan at all, definitely good value for money. Soon cooled room down. Thank you

Good price, the fan is much quieter than my old one but still powerful. Slightly difficult to put together as I found the instructions a bit ambiguous, but fine after trying a few different ways of putting it together...
