I wanted a multi-function exercise device and didn't want to invest in something large like a Bowflex. The idea of resistance bands also appealed to me because I didn't want to have to deal with a ton of weights like through a barbell set.I've been using it for about a month and am generally happy with it. It's pretty complex at first to understand how the bands should be connected, how to increase resistance, and all of that, but after a few weeks, I don't even need to look at the manual anymore.It's super small and lightweight, but I couldn't exactly characterize it as 'portable' unless you plan on just putting it in the car and taking it with you on a trip. (In other words, I don't think it's realistic to expect to bring it on a plane or something unless you're just bringing the 'attach to doorframe' part and some of the resistance bands.'No real complaints yet, although I feel like some of the exercises put a lot of stress on the board and unless I have both feet on it, I might break the central hinge at some point.

As of today I received and started using it and I couldn't be happier. I could never commit to going to the gym and and as an introvert didn't feel comfortable around everyone not to mention having to wait if someone was using the machine I wanted to use. Now I don't have any excuse not to workout with the versatility and it being easy to assemble I can move it anywhere in my home or outside. I have wasted so much money on gym memberships now I never have to step inside one again. I'm genuinely amazed at how many exercises I can do with product.

This portable gym comes in several colors. I chose purple. I am beginning over again in fitness routines and this system is gentle on my body. It comes with a band placement chart, a suggested workout routine for beginner and moderate workouts with information for their video website with many types of routines to follow. It even comes with a warranty once the system is registered with BodyBoss. I purchased this system to help tone and rebuild my muscle groups after suffering an arterial tear two years ago. I highly recommend the BodyBoss 2.0, especially for people just starting an exercise routine. The resistance is gentle and I can feel my muscle groups toning from the inside of my body. I am not straining or being placed under strain. It has been difficult to find mild or gentle routines that will not put me at risk for another arterial tear. I have now found a system that works well.

Excellent workout in a single room. It’s not a “complete” anaerobic gym set up (pull-ups, proper dead lift and isolated leg exercises are among a few no-go’s) but what it does provide is outstanding for those on the go or with limited space. It excels at arms and shoulders and can hit the back muscles using the door anchor. I highly recommend a second set of bands as one pair wouldn’t be enough.It’s super easy to travel with, fitting in my large suitcase along whatever else I pack for long trips. Because it’s completely modular, you can easily distribute the components among you bags to avoid going over the luggage weight limit for air travel.It arrived promptly and it good condition. It’s a little bit expensive but it’s well made and I’m getting my money’s worth out of it. Overall, no complaints! It’s a great portable, personal gym. It deserves all 5 stars!
