Absolutely perfect for the sudden heat wave, once pup worked it out in second try.

This is the perfect size for my King Charles spaniel , he’s a leggy one and 12kg so not a toy dog. From the minute I put it down he has loved it, it’s cool to start and to keep it so on hot nights I put ice packs underneath, but not needed them this latest UK summer;) I can only recommend it highly! We took it on holiday, was also used in the car for the journey and he sleeps on it every night, he’s not a chewer so it’s all in one piece and seems hardwearing and well made. Can’t imagine being without it now! Very pleased customer:)

I have used cool mats for many years not many are a thick as this one. I also have learnt some of the bed have antifreeze in them so if digested could cause serious illness or even death!The cushion edge seems to be a big hit with 6 German Spitz i own they have a double coat so like to lay on cool surfaces. I would get bigger ones for my other dogs but they eat beds!So i can highly recommend this for money value, quality, easy to clean, dogs love it and helps them keep cool.My dogs also love to dig at beds, other then a few scratch marks which fade away they have not damaged this bed.Hope this is helpful

Perfect for my old dog and a puppy.

Initially, my dog immediately loved the cool pad and snuggled/rubbed her back and head against the padded edging, enjoying the cool on her back. BUT... then she rolled over and began to scratch to make a bed and it immediately split. I thought it was bad luck, so turned the bed over and literally less than a minute later, it happened on the other side. Such a shame the fabric isn't more durable. She's only a year old and has well clipped claws. Scratching to make a bed is natural and hard to avoid with our pup. If your dog doesn't, it's a good buy.
