Can this be taken off after a year or more without damage to walls?

Yes, it can be safely removed however most important factors are quality of paint and wall texture.

I think it may be.... my wife just got a couple sets for our daughters bedroom and was very happy. We have not tried to move them but I’m assuming you could peel them off and re paste some where else.... if they lose their adhesion a little bit of glue could do the trick.... keep in mind this is coming from the husband and I wasn’t involved in the project but my wife was happy with the product
