This Denti-Care Paste is designed to be easily applied as it's safe for dogs to digest and swallow. You apply it by squeezing paste from the tube nozzle onto the dog's gumline and then massaging its muzzle to disperse the paste. The idea is that the dog will then lick the thick paste from its teeth, cleaning their own teeth without the need for brushing. It's a thick, white paste with a faint smell and it contains cinnamon and parsley to help freshen breath. I'm not sure how effective this actually is, and it's hard to be sure whether it's having a beneficial effect as my dog has young, healthy teeth anyway. Although it's easier than brushing my dog's teeth, I use it alongside brushing for regular maintenance rather than as a substitute for brushing.
