One Chem - Tent and Gear Waterproof 2.5 Litre Spray - Long Hose Trigger - Effectively Protects Tents From The Elements

Great easy to spray. Made our trailer tent waterproof and was easy to apply with the spray bottle provided. Didn’t take long to dry and works. Great protection from the rain and you can not notice any residue on the fabric.

Used on old caravan awning that was so old the rain would run through any stitching and seep through the material. Used 1 entire container on the roof and 90% of the side panels of a 8m x 3m awning. We used a 5l pressure sprayer because of the large area we needed to cover, I would recommend this over the trigger spray that comes with the bottle. Following night we had constant rain, not heavy but one of those nights when it doesn’t stop and everything gets damp. But the inside of the awning was dry, no leaks around the seems and the inside was dry to the touch - there were a couple of areas we missed and they were wet through still. Might even give this a go with some coats/jackets that have lost their waterproofing.

This product is great. Easy to use and made my old tent waterproof again. You obviously have to adjust the spray nozzle to suit. I found a fine spray gave excellent coverage very quickly. Great price and worked well on tent.

I found that the fluid is reluctant to soak into the fabric, as the instructions suggest rubbing it in with cloth, Iended up using a soft broom to scrub it in. The spayer supplied I found to be absolutely useless and used a garden spayer instead. The 2.5 litres adequately covered a 10 foot square awning, without colour change. I have not tested it's waterproofing properties.
