RMK9096WP Gray and Almond Weathered Stone Peel and Stick Wallpaper

We rent, and are not permitted to paint, so - we decided to use this peel and stick material to cover the dull flat standard unwashable white paint that property management used for our walls. Difference is night and day! Material is easy to peel and made of a medium to light vinyl. The image quality is decent - not superior, but good enough that if the area you are covering is not going to be a centerpiece which everyone is looking at it - i.e. a main wall, it will be worth the project. Image is not glossy, so the light will not glare or reflect intensely off of it. Pros: Goes up easy, is easily removable and repositionable to get it lined up the way you want. Trims and cuts easily with a sharp blade and/or scissors. Looks very nice and seamless when focus, time and patience is taken. Cons: The pattern is set to follow the length of the roll, as if you were starting from the ceiling down to the floor. If you are working side to side as I had to, between cabinets and counter top, you will need to cut pieces at a time, and line up the pattern precisely with another cut piece as you work from one side of the room to the other. The pattern repeats itself every 20 inches or so perhaps, so you do end up wasting quite a bit of material doing this unfortunately. I had to create eight 14" pieces which used up the entire roll in order to line up the pattern to the next cut piece. Also, the curl of the material is very agitating as you are trying to hang - so a second set of hands if very helpful when lining up your next piece. All in all, it was an easy process without a whole lot of effort. It will peel right off when you no longer want it. Time will tell how long it holds. My wall was a flat texture base paint on drywall, and the paper stuck just fine. Just need to line up your next piece and take into account that you will be wasting some material to get the pattern to line up - how much you lose really depends on how much area you are covering. I would definitely buy again.

It sticks, it’s durable enough to wash, and be easily applied. Pattern is believable from a distance.

I couldn’t wait to write my review after I put up my wall sticker. I am trying to find a place to show pictures, I just can’t tell you how wonderful this looks!! As far as matching up the pieces, we figured out once you hang a strip, flip the paper upside down and pieces match together better. Not perfect, but pretty well. I simply cut out small pieces from the left overs and stuck them where appropriate to cover any seams. My end result was SEAMLESS!! I am so happy with the results of this product, I can’t even describe. More hints on getting it to stick even better? Lightly sand the painted wall, and since I had used semi gloss, I wiped down the wall lightly with nail polish remover and let it dry. I also used a putty Scraper to slide along the paper as I rolled it out and stuck it in place. This kept air bubbles from forming. If they do, just poke a tiny hole in it and slide your putty scraper over it to smooth it out. The wallpaper is sticking like a champ. Will someone please tell me how to put pictures with this review? You HAVE to see the results! I am not a stone mason, but I am an artist.... I did myself justice with my color matching skills with piecing together the rocks! I AM going to tell everyone about this product, and I WILL be buying from this company again!! Thank you!!!

Very attractive!! Love it! I covered a half wall around my fireplace and it looks terrific. Just purchased more to do my kitchen backsplash.

Very easy to work with. Measure carefully. Order enough to cover your area and a little extra to match the pattern. I covered a 14” height backsplash with 50” and 60” wall lengths including a small corner area with one roll. The pattern allowed for a tiny overlap which is highly recommended to prevent potential shrinkage gaps. Couldn’t be happier with the result.

We've ordered this exact wallpaper before from the same seller a little over a year ago. The color is slightly off which we didn't care but it doesn't want to stick to the wall now. To clarify we are putting it on the same wall. We did a tavern style wall on part of our wall and this year we're expanding it. The wall is clean, we tried tape strips underneath, and heating it and still nothing works. I hate it because even if we try reordering it's still gonna be the same stuff that doesn't stick.

Do you rent? This stuff is awesome! I have textured walls and it stuck perfectly fine and didn’t fall at all. Two years later, not only does it peel off easy, there is no residue left behind! Definitely will buy again!

Nous avons été grandement surpris par la qualité du papier. L'installation a été quand même facile, le fait qu'il soit auto-collant (sans colle) est parfait et très pratique. Sans oublier que le joint est complètement introuvable!! Malgré qu'il y a eu des bulles d'air et que j'ai dû décollé une grande partie du papier déjà collé, il a été facile de le replacer et il tient à merveille. Il n'a jamais décollé. L'effet est juste wow!! Nous adorons et recommandons à 100% ce papier et ce motif!

El producto llegó en tiempo y forma y cumple con lo que se ofrece. Se ve muy bien en el espacio en el que lo coloque. El pegamento se comporta bien aún en superficies que no son completamente lisas. Muy recomendable.

A great replica of stone for being paper, very happy w the finished look, every bit what I expected ( for flat paper). It can b a bit finicky to work when u are moving around corners and wrapping trim like I was and to line up the strips so the seam isn’t visible. I was not able to make that happen though still worth it in the end. Also the backing sticks to itself as u maneuver ( esp. if doing alone) u have to b careful but can peel it off itself and carry on but if not careful it will rip. One other issue to know about is if wrapping around trim or small corners it does not stick well without lots of overhang as seen in pic my first section was a short and lifted but next edge was longer 3/4-1 inch) and sticks fine. Just some tips I came across in working with this paper that could help things go smoother for u. Over all I am very happy with the results although it is expensive to do projects with this.

This wallpaper is absolutely stunning. It’s a nice thick material and it’s very forgivable and easy to work with. The adhesive is great. I haven’t had any issues and I’ve had it up for about six months now in a high traffic area. The stone looks very realistic. I’ve had quite a few people visit and are shocked to find out that it’s not real stone.
