I was gifted one of these with my first child who is now 5 yrs old. I cut the tags of it before I knew what it was and searched all over for flannel swaddle blankets of this size because I loved it soooo much. All the flannel baby blankets I found were so tiny, nothing large enough to swaddle with at all. With my now newborn I was determined to find more of these because they are the perfect large size and actually provide warmth because they are flannel. I was soooo happy to finally find these online this time around and immediately bought 3. They are absolutely the best blankets for swaddling a baby if you also need to keep them warm (all the other swaddle blankets out there are so thin). They are also immediately soft and comfy. They work well for a playmat also. Very versatile. These are so amazing I will probably buy these as gifts for future babies of friends tbh, I love them so much.

I looked everywhere for a baby blanket made from 100% cotton made in the USA. This was it, and also a reasonable price! I can’t believe there are people out there willing to use baby blankets made in China. I got this for a kitten. And the reason I am particular is that their lungs are so tiny if there is any kind of manufacturing dust or chemicals it will affect them whereas it might not affect an adult.After washing this blanket was very soft, it is flannel so it is not super super soft yet but I can tell with multiple washings it will get softer each time just like my flannel shirts. It’s a very big size but thin enough I was able to fold it up and use it in the bottom of my kittens bed after using it to hold him during his 4 hour drive home. It’s his blankie and it’s super cute.For a baby blanket, they have instructions on how to swaddle sewn onto a tag, I cut them off but saved them so I can use those same instructions with a smaller towel. The lady that cleans my cats teeth said if you wrap the cat in a blanket/towel where they can’t move then you can brush their little teeth. So now I know what the secret is. ;p

This swaddling blanket out performs a Halo sleep sack, as well as the Summer Infant brand swaddling "contraption". Those items both rely on velcro closures. Items with velcro are a pain to wash, because the velcro shreds other materials in the washer. This blanket was an unexpected thing of beauty and yet the functionality is off the charts. You wrap, tuck, and fold. It's easy. There's foolproof directions to swaddle your baby right on the blanket tag, which is satin (like the Taggies brand satin tags). These blankets are truly Ultimate, luxurious to the touch, resisting pilling and skrinking. They are the right shape, a square, and not a rectangle (Carters are rectangles). I bought a ton of Carters receiving blankets for my newborn daughter, and I'm giving them away one by one to make room for more of these. Pricy, but so so worth every penny. I'm buying two more now for my sister-in-law's shower gifts. Also, these blankets are far more elegant looking than most baby patterns are. They even have matching burp cloths for most patterns.We call my daughter Houdini since she can immediately work her way out of any swaddle. She doesn't do so in this blanket, even when she squirms like crazy.

This is a big, warm swaddling blanket. It is great for wrapping a baby, as an extra layer on the changing table, or as a towel. My own complaint is that the fabric pilled after a single wash. It doesn’t change the function, but it’s not as pretty. Nonetheless, I bought two more because I like the overall quality, and they are great for swaddling larger babies.

As an O.C.D. pregnant woman. I researched and researched and finally purchased four of these. Once i opened them i knew right away they were going to be amazing! The quality is far far better than the four packs you can buy for $14-20 at local stores. It is so easy to swaddle and actually holds. They look amazing. I love that the have sewn the "Swaddle process" on the blanket itself for my husband (when i have to run to the store). My absolute favorite thing about this (besides the amazing colors) are how big they are. They will last far longer than the swaddle sacs you can buy. Swaddle sacs are great but they can only be used until they are too big. These will last much longer. I am about to order 2 more. I decided instead of buying $160-300 crib bedding set for them that comes with nothing you can ACTUALLY use besides a crib sheet. That these would work better
