We purchased these vacuum sealing bags for dealing with unsightly blankets in our linen closet. Our duvet inner comforter was the worst offender, taking up most of the top of our closet since it was made to fit our king-size duvet. Finding anything that would fit this giant thing was becoming challenging. Having tried some other brands, we found that they ripped during the sealing process, lost its seal over the first couple of hours, or just outright wouldn't fit a comforter since they were made for holding lots of clothes. Thankfully, these vacuum sealing bags worked and likely could have held another giant comforter along with it (we didn't want this since we wanted to get it back out in winter easily). The bags were also very thick plastic and easy to use. We were impressed enough that we bought other sizes of Hefty bags to deal with our queen-size blankets, too.

Good sized product to store large pillows and blankets. I used it to store my wifes maternity pillow which is gigantic. Hand to wrestle and manipulate it a bit to fit but once I got it in there and sucked the air out it really compressed it. Perfect to get it to store nicely underneath the bed. Only gripe I have is that the seal eventually opened a couple of months later and I haven't taken the time to wrestle it back out and reseal and deflate it again. Overall a good product and I most likely was pushing the bag to the limit by the size of pillow I was stuffing in there.

I used the Hefty Shrink-Pak Vacuum Storage Bags when I moved back home for the summer and they seriously saved me so much space. I fit all my winter clothes and extra bedding into just three jumbo bags and slid them right under my bed. They stayed sealed tight with no weird odors and gave me a ton of extra room in my closet. I honestly don’t know how I packed without them before.

I purchased these Hefty Shrink Pack Jumbo bags to store away my winter bedding set. The jumbo bags were very spacious and I was so excited to use them. I followed the directions exactly and made sure the bags weren’t overfilled. I sealed them and went over it several times to make sure that it was zip locked tight. I grabbed my vacuum and started sucking out the air. It definitely started to shrink all the way down and I was very pleased. I used the second bag for storing 4 bed pillows and again the bag worked as it was designed to. I stored the 2 bags under my bed and went to sleep. In the middle of the night I heard a startling noise, woke me up out of a deep sleep. To my surprise the Hefty Shrink Pack bags had re-inflated under my bed and scared me half to death. These bags did not work and I would not recommend!!

I’m going with 3 stars because the sealing part was so difficult, the bags have to be defective. I will admit the bags are large. I ended up with the use of only 2 bags because I thought the bag was ready to be put away, only to hear it fall from the shelf 3 minutes later, it had released air and the bag was damaged when it fell. Not sure where I’m going wrong with the sealing part.

I tried wrestling a memory foam mattress pad into a smaller size zip bag. Ugh. But this size... woohoo! It is REALLY large, such that I'm not sure where one would stow an item that fits in here. Not sure where I'M going to stow it, but using this bag really helps shrink the item to a more manageable size.
