Q: I am going to buy this for a friend in England will it work with their power currents

I don't know about in England but my globe does not work right period. Does not float sticks to the magnet at the top.

Q: Seller: mine doesn't rotate for very long - like a couple of minutes and then oscillates until it stops with the Middle East facing me. Defective?

hi,it is not defective. if you want it to rotate,you should spin it gently.its main feature is "floating"

Q: How do i get the correct power cord? the one shipped is not compatible with us 110 v. different plug in configuration .
