Skechers Men's GOrun Elevate - Athletic Slip-on Workout Running Shoes

Update: I'm leaving 5 stars since this pair I bought Navy/Grey size 13 on March 23, 2025 is very good. Best pair of shoes I've ever worn. Literally perfect. Price was $69.37I bought 2 more pairs of the exact same listing and size, and one of the same color. May 2, 2025 Grey/Black size 13 for $53.09 and May 5, 2025 Navy/Grey size 13 for $50.85. Both of these pairs are very bad. The shoe liner is similar, but the mesh or cushion under feels hard and uncomfortable. I tried on my original pair and these next 2 pairs several times and the difference is HUGE. First pair super soft and comfortable. Later 2 pairs very hard and very noticeably uncomfortable. So I'm going to say Skechers is either doing a bait-and-switch, or has a quality control problem.Original:For me this is a solid shoe by Skechers. I don't have very wide feet, and this shoe is a bit narrow, but for me it seems to fit my foot exactly. Soles feel soft and mesh feels good. No problems so far.

I've been wearing the Skechers Men's Gorun Elevate Athletic Slip-On Workout Running Shoes for about three months now, and here's my review:**Comfort and Fit:**These shoes are very comfortable. If you're into more intense running or need something more durable and supportive, you might want to look at other options. For my needs, they've been a solid investment so far.

Very light but durable. Extremely easy to slip on. Real comfortable. Used them for a run, great running shoes and felt like running in clouds. Good arch support, inadvertently tested that several times

they are great so far for a user with painful feet. You know, the kind of pain that feels like walking on nails all day.No pain with these after about 5 days.

Very comfortable. Easy to wear, right fit, gives great support.

Super comfortable. Fits now. Does give a lot of height and looks good.

I bought a pair more than a year ago and they are still going strong, but was worried at some point they'd stop making these, so I bought a second pair just now to keep in the box for when these eventually wear out. As for the shoes, I have wide feet and experienced some plantar fasciitis arch pain a couple years ago. I don't know that these are advertised for that purpose, but they've been awesome. They are easy slip-ons with pull straps at the heal and top. Light-weight, deeply cushioned, breathable and stretchy. I can't recommend them highly enough. They have lasted really well, with 2 years of nearly daily wear they look great still. They call these "GoRun", but really they would be best for walking.

Ok, let's be honest. When you think of men slip on shoes, you think of little kids and old people. Or at least I do. I have never worn a pair of shoes that didn't have to be "secured" to your feet with either laces, or buckles, other than western boots, etc. Of course the leather dress shoes I am not counting because they are a different style. Anyway, the thought of these shoes seemed like I was either slipping back to my infancy youth or rapidly heading into 4pm dinner buffets and bed time before dark. Fortunately, neither was the case.These shoes are ideal for slipping on quickly to run outside. Great for wearing to the store in a hurry. Or walking the dog at 2am when nature suddenly demanded her presence. Honestly, these shoes are handy all of the time. And comfortable. And reasonably attractive as far as basic shoes go.At least my wife, who is very fashion aware, but highly practical, doesn't oppose my wearing and using of these shoes. We all know that there are some men who shouldn't dress themselves, after all, we have seen them in public. But she doesn't mind my wearing these shoes at all. Now, I am not talking about wearing these to a funeral or a wedding (how did those two come to me in the same thought.....just kidding) but wearing them around the house, in a non dressed up manner.These are some of the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. They stay on your feet and don't flop around, but they are easy to slip on and secure by pulling the heel over your foot. I suggest you order them if you are looking for comfortable shoes which are easy to put in. I know I sure like them,.........So does my dog who needs to go outside in the middle of the night because she is bored and wants to see what her animal friends are up at 2am.................We are working on that issue...........Get these shoes. You will be glad you did.............I am and so is my dog............
