DIY Guitar Pedal Fuzz Full Kit With 1590 Size Box Purple

(Did someone forget to renew their domain?)I enjoy building kits like this and the straightforwardness of the instructions in this kit go like this: Install resistors and diodes, make it look like the picture. (Has grainy picture that mostly helps.)Except when you get to something important like the power plugs. That's a jumbled mess where nothing is explained and after doing two kits from the company it doesn't seem to be better in either one.

Instructions are not bad except for the input Instructions are wrong...The Amazon picture is correct..Also different websites were wrong..One I figured that out after swapping wires around for a few hours it works great..

Took almost a month to actually get it, the enclosure was cracked and the paint peeled off out of the packaging, following the "schematic" pedal turned on but none of the pots did anything. Fun project but bummed with how long it took to get, quality of parts and lack of instructions/schematics

The instructions for assembly are very poor. I had to go to YouTube videos and reviews of the product here on Amazon to figure out the proper wiring of the input and output jacks. If you were a beginner, I would recommend buying a higher quality kit with better instructions.

It is what it is. Easy to understand and fun to put together, but probably my important takeaway is the purple glittery finish that the pic doesn't do justice.... nice

I would not recommend purchasing. Followed the instructions and when power was applied it did not work. I was troubleshooting it and found the battery getting really hot. The only thing that can cause this is a direct short. So something is wrong with the wiring or one of the PCB components. Do not recommend trying unless you have a lot of experience or want to risk trying it.

I’d like to start by saying I had zero experience with electronics. There is a one page brochure with simple instructions for placing the components on the PCB, however the photo used for reference of how the input/output, the dc power, battery power and such were not exactly clear. It took me about 3 hours to put together. The first time it didn’t work because the dc power jack was wired wrong mainly because it was difficult to to see from photo where the wires went. The second time after correcting the dc plug it still didn’t work. After a little frustration I decided to use a multimeter to check the input/output jacks. Again they were wired wrong. I corrected it and works great. Good sound. If the reference photos were clearer it probably would of worked first time. Overall it was a fun project.
