Cannot add another hard drive, no hardware cable included for a SATA3 drive
I bought this a few months ago and decided to add a 1Tb SSD drive to it. I opened the laptop and found that there was a space for the hard drive, but no cable to connect it to the computer. It's easy to see where the hard drive connection should connect, but no cable to connect it to, also there was one screw loose by the battery that could have caused some damage if it got loose and started to rattle around in there. I'm yelling at HP right now for their lack of thought. The laptop works fine for the normal stuff I do. I am quite annoyed right now.Edit:HP doesn't sell these cables so you will need to buy 3rd party. HP Service P/N: L52024-001, L52025-001 is what you are looking for. 3rd party means they should be electronically compatible, not necessarily physically. There isn't much clearance for the Hard Drive so get one that has the hard drive plug at right angles to the cable.I made pictures with a few notes to show it can be done. Remember to initialize and format the hard driveso it can be used. Make sure a drive letter was assigned.

No background lights in the keyboard.
Is hard to type in low light condition as there is no backlight on this model. All else appears to be running smooth.

Completely Died After Owning for Less Than 18 Months
Loved it until it crashed after 18 months and will cost more to fix it than buying a new. Very disappointed in HP. Will not buy this brand again!

Laptop did not come with a power cord. The first set up instruction was to plug in the power cord.
Laptop did not come with a power cord. The first set up instruction was to plug in the power cord. The computer should come with a power cord that is matched to the specific battery pack for this computer. The company will not respond to my phone messages.
