Anyone know where to get instructions to get this set up? I obviously know how to extend the pole, but that’s where my knowledge ends.

This kit has a lot of different ways to fish. Like using the lure where you throw it out and retrieve it. Or putting on bait and using the bobber. Or using the grubs and throwing it out and jerk your pole while reeling it in slowly. I would recommend YouTube to fish for the kinds of fish you want to catch. :)

Can this be used for Ocean fishing?

You could but it is more suitable for freshwater fishing

What pole is best for beginning fisher, age 14?

A lot depends upon what one means by "fishing", since gear suited for one particular venue (say, fly fishing for trout in a fast moving stream) will tend to differ in an alternative venue (say, fishing for perch/bass/sunfish in a large lake of mainly still water). Trout streams often entail overhanging trees and entanglements that make extra long rods a nuisance. And generally, a younger person might benefit from a shorter rod, especially in situations of entanglement or where multiple fishermen are angling, shoulder to shoulder. Too, there are many different kinds of reels available, and some will prove easier to use and more beneficial for a youngster than will others. Is the fishing to be done off a shore line at the lake, in the water at a trout stream, or in a boat on a dam? And, what sorts of bait does one have in mind? I suggest that before one purchase any fishing gear for a youngster one be apprised of where and how the gear will be used. Who is taking the young fisherperson out angling? Ask that person for advice. Or go to a fishing specialty store and ask one of the "experts" there for recommendations. I purchased a short, collapsible fishing rod with an easy to use spincast reel for my grandson knowing full well where and how he will be using the instrument. Later, I will upgrade the equipment, if his interest continues and the venue changes.

What is the maximum weight support of this rod? Is the fishing rod easy break?

The kids fishing pole sure smaller than normal pole，less 2kg no problem.

A great fishing pole kit.

My review of the Plussino Kid’s fishing pole kit.I got this item for my 6 year old who has been wanting to go fishing for a while now.this kit has it all. There is a small tackle box that comes with a few lures to use. It is very organized and separated by compartments with in the box.The time it took me to get it all set up was about 4 minutes.The fishing pole extends out nicely and never folds in on its own unless you put it back in. It is a spin cast reel which made it a breeze for my 6 year old to use. After use, it is easy to put back in its own bag. It has two pockets with in the bag to place the small tackle box and the reel that comes apart with minimal effort. It also has two straps to hold the pole in place when in the bag.My son loves his fishing pole and the small bag with the handles makes it easy for him to carry.Definitely a fan of this product and recommend to anyone looking to purchase a fishing set up for a young angler.

Nice starter rod

Awesome little rod and comes with a convenient little travel bag with a small tackle box for the kids! Even comes with a little tip book for the kiddos!I had an issue with my reel already in a birdnest when it came in, i receiced a speedy replacement so no biggy!My only issue with the rod is the handle, im not a big fan that the comfy grip doesnt come all the way down, so its not as comfy in my hands but maybe its not as big of deal for children.All in all, great deal on a little beginning fishing rod!
