Worked excellent.I got some rebar and ran down next to post then got some hose clamps and cinched all together. Overkill? No repairs in over a year!

I had 2 issues with this anchor. First the bracket was about a half inch larger than a 4x4 post. I wedged another small board in it to make a better fit while I adjusted it. 2nd, the leverage bar isn't long enough or strong enough to tighten it all the way. I used it and a breaker bar with a long pipe to get it down so it's no big deal. 3rd the screws are small. They are long enough but the heads will almost go through the bracket holes. Overall it is a awesome product and saved me from digging a new hole due to some nice person ran over my mailbox and broke it off at the ground.

I used it to mount a bird feeder. It goes in the ground easily and you can rotate the post after instillation. Works great!

The product looks fine, but this is much larger than a 4x4 post. I should have read details closer.

These do not fit most standard wooden mailbox posts, because the opening that the post is supposed to fit into is too small. Also, screwing them into the ground is a real pain. I got rid of mine and simply buried the post in the ground. It worked fine, and when a runaway car bit our post, it simply knocked it out the ground, whereas is it were in a product like this or, worse yet, set in concrete, it would have snapped right off.

Fabulous concept and so much easier for me to manage than digging a hole and filling with concrete. Very pleased with item.
