Seems well made... when lid screwed on properly, holds 12 oz can securely. Insulates by tiny air gap between can & holder... kinda' like the science behind thermos bottle. Held my soda cool enough to drink for 2-3 hrs in really warm room... not tried yet for warm drink, but expect similar results. Little tricky screwing black holder bushing on top, but not so much as to detract significantly from expectations. (update 07/05/17: Think screw top is just a learning curve.. now very easy to do) Would recommend to friends

Cover onone is hard to get on keeps crossthreadin and to other onecover wont go onlike threads are tooshort. Both still work without the cove
