I decided to gift it to my cousin after 1 month but later on I realised that one book was missing from the collection. I wrote to the concerned authority after long time but no response was given to me

Refreshing easy2read fantasy adventure
I wanted something easy to read during lockdown tension and after seeing the 2013 City of Bones movie was keen to know more about this world of Shadowhunters. I'm pretty impressed with her lore of the Nephilim, a race of warriors created to protect humans, you've got vampires, werewolves, angels and demons thrown into the mix too. Her plots and characters are well crafted, I find myself racing though the books to find out what's going to happen next! Towards the end of the series the books become darker! One caveat is the teenage romance which I find a bit over the top (probably because I'm not a teen!), but it doesn't destroy the books and didn't put me off reading.I'd definitely recommend these books to anyone that enjoys fantasy books or wants an easy read whatever your age.On a side note I'd suggest reading the books first and then watching the new TV series as they've changed a lot of stuff and brought characters, events etc forwards from later books into the first season! You don't want spoilers! If you like this give the 2013 movie a go, it was really good and very true to the first book, shame it didn't take off.

Great
I had the sudden urge to re-read this series again and found this. Books look brand new. According to the set, it’s originally priced at £61 (maybe when it was first released) but i only paid £22. So not too bad. And i love these books, so all in all great purchase.

Surprinsingly captivating book series
For a long time I was reluctant to buy the book series as I thought it might be a bit on the shallow side. I was wrong though, as this turned out to be exceptionally well written - and funny too! I love Clary's journey from someone who doesn't have any idea the Shadoworld exists to someone who ends up saving it. Jace is an incredibile character as well, hiding a lot of vulnerability under his bravado. The author's world building stands out for its intricate detail. I ended up reading through the first five books in a week, that's how unputdownable they are.The Netflix series's grown on me as well - I recommend that too.The books were new and the delivery was prompt.

It was a fantastic book set.
It was a fantastic read, loved it. Seen the Show shame it never went further, but a great ending when Clary finds Jace again. Makes you wonder if there is secret world we don't know about. Like to think so. Enjoy the book set. Going to read Magnes Bane books next.
