Excellent
Read this book and got a feeling that there is very little freewill in this world. For every thought/ emotion there seems to be some meddling hormone/ neurotransmitter working in the background and pushing its own agenda. Nevertheless, a very informative book, well written, an enjoyable read and highly recommended.

Changed my life, for good.
Before "The Molecule of More," I was happily diving into neuroscience podcasts with Dr. Andrew Huberman, but my understanding of dopamine remained constrained to its role in motivation and reward. This book blew that understanding wide open.Dr Lieberman and Dr E Long don't just explain dopamine; they disclose it as the engine driving so much of human experience, from love and addiction to creativity and our very pursuit of "more."What truly synced with me was the book's exploration of serotonin as the "here and now" molecule. This description beautifully echoed the teachings of spiritual giants like Ram Dass and Osho who have preached the transformative power of present-moment awareness. "The Molecule of More" provided the scientific underpinnings for their philosophy, showing how serotonin's calming presence allows us to appreciate what we have rather than constantly chasing the next dopamine-fueled thrill. It's no exaggeration to say this book has changed my life. For the first time, I see the intimate game between dopamine and serotonin playing out in my own thoughts and actions. This awareness has been empowering, enabling me to make conscious choices about where to direct my energy and attention. I'm now less caught up in the endless pursuit of "more" and more attuned to the simple joys of the present moment. For this profound transformation, I owe immense gratitude to the authors, for throwing light on the unseen forces shaping our human experience. And a big thank you to Dr. Huberman for igniting my initial curiosity about the brain and paving the way for this impactful journey.Thank you Legends.

Don’t miss it
If you want to know your mind better you need to read this, as per the author mind functioning is based on set of chemicals that flow based on what we control and what we do not control. What we do not control Dopomine comes to picture. Dopomine has only one objective and it’s more and basically it helped to survive and the same this helped us in everything as it gives motivation to do any task and 2nd is here and now chemicals like serotonin, oxytocin and endorphins and they are the present chemicals and help us enjoy the reality with all our senses and also cause all the emotions we feel. The books also covers all aspects that Dopomine influences , its abuse , controls , creativity, politics, madness and balance. Most useful for me is buyer’s remorse:). Overall you will not regret reading this book and it can help you save if you are more impulsive in your spending.

Beautiful explanation of the human condition and more relevant today than ever
The authors take a pretty tricky subject - neuroscience and neurotransmitters and lucidly explain how they impact everyday experiences. In doing so, they helped me understand various predicaments, seemingly contradictory notions that affected my everyday. It also gives me new language to talk about emotional and excited experiences - in a way that helps me make sense of it. Highly recommend!

Interessante
Interessante entender de fato o que é a Dopamina e como ela funciona em nosso corpo. E como é maravilhoso que nosso corpo precisa sempre do equilíbrio das coisas. Tudo que é em excesso ou há falta, é ruim.
