Spiegelau 15.5 oz Beer Tulip glass (set of 4)

Purchased these as a gift and they are very nice and were not broken as many reviews indicated. However, due to massive Amazon delivery debacles upon several purchases at the same time, I was sent two boxes instead of one. Not happy about taking the time to return the extra set, but mistakes happen. I would let Amazon charge me for the extra set of six, but these are my style as I prefer bohemian nor do I drink beer. The recipient will love them! Nice quality and aesthetically appealing.

These are nice well-made tulip glasses perfect for drinking your Belgian ales out of. The quality seems good, although one of them chipped on the base but that was probably my fault. I put these in the dishwasher.

I bought these because the cidery I go to has them (with their logo), and they are really elegant and delightful to look at and hold and drink out of. The cidery owner told me he chose them because they allow the aromas to collect and concentrate (a full pour at this place is only 8oz so there's plenty of room for aromas). I bought several of the cidery branded glasses, but they are VERY delicate and can chip or crack if you aren't super careful with them, and so I decided to get some unbranded ones for when I travel (even if just to a friend's house in town). I STRONGLY urge you to hand wash them, protect them while in the drying rack, and NEVER EVER put anything except liquid in them. I may update this review to report on how successful I was at attempting to repair a tiny chip on the rim. From what I've seen on YouTube, it's a long process to heat up and cool down the glass so that it doesn't crack.

These glasses can be used for various occasions and beverages. They are elegantly shaped, comfortable to hold, and have a good size - not too big, not too small. They appear thin and fragile, but they are actually sufficiently sturdy. They are exactly what I wanted to buy from this category of glasses.

The Spiegelau Classic Tulip Beer Glasses really seem to make the beer taste better. They are a delightful shape and appear extremely well made. Unfortunately, one of the six arrived with a broken stem, and that's why the four stars instead of five. The inner and outer boxes were undamaged.

They work great. They arrived unbroken. We have already done some inadvertent knock over testing with these and they did not break. The weight is that of a light commercial bar glass. Stems are robust and the lip of the glass is sufficiently thin. It just feels right against your lips. The correct volume to contain a 12oz (350 ml) or 16oz (475 to 500 ml) beer and foam.

Love these beer glasses! They are crystal and ver thin walled, which is good. I love IPAs in a glass rather than from the can or bottle. It makes a big difference in the flavor as in a glass, the beer can breathe. These glasses came in a set of 4 and, given the price, would be hard to beat. Enjoying a nice Deschutes Hazy IPA in one now. I highly recommend these for anyone wanting a nice tulip glass for a good beer.

Ultimately I was after additional Lenox tulip glasses. I love the 4 we own and needed a bunch more for my application. It doesn’t look like they sell 4 packs of just the tulips any more so I opted to try these instead. They are actually quite nice and are close to the same size and shape, you can see the side by side pic in the photos I uploaded. The Lenox ones fan out a little more at the rim and hold a few more oz. I also ordered the 17 oz version of the spigeleau but had to return since the base is too wide for my shelves. I am drinking out of them as we speak, nice for stouts or IPAs. The glass seems solid enough and they hold a 12oz beer plus head with still a some extra space.

Two glasses arived broken. That's due to shipping. Box was not tagged fragile. But 1 other glass clearly show impurities in the glass. Noticably thicker ring for lower part of the glass. Not the quality I anticipated for the price.

Bicchieri molto belli e comodi da usare. Vetro di giusto spessore (non troppo sottile e nemmeno troppo tozzo). Soddisfatto!

la copa es hermosa, se ve un tanto más frágil de lo que esperaba pero me parece resistente. En unos meses reporto el estado de las copas. De momento puedo decir que es ideal para la percepción de los aromas, su limpieza en el material (sin marcas ni grabados) hace que la inspección visual no tenga estorbos. El tallo me parece un poco corto, pero nada que no permita una buena degustación.
