Stayed frozen longer than expected
I wasn't sure what I was going to encounter when these arrived - in a plastic bag not even 1 /4 inch thick. However, once I soaked them as directed then put them in the freezer, they did not take long (maybe 6 hours) to freeze solid. They were still solidly frozen 24 hours later and since I did not need them longer, I don't know just how long they stayed frozen or at least quite cold. They did not lose much shape once completely thawed. They worked great and can be placed in a cooler without taking up much room without the mess of thawing ice. They kept everything quite cold and a few items that were frozen were still frozen pretty solid a day later. Better than dry ice that dissipates in a one time use. These are reusable and more environmentally friendly I think.

Better Than I Thought
I was looking for something that would last frozen for at least 12 to 15 hours. I followed the manufacturer’s instructions on their use and care. I had read reviews where people had problems with the packs bursting. Following the instructions of making sure to wipe off all the water after soaking is the trick. I used a clean, absorbent tea towel to make sure the cells were dry, including the seams, cracks, etc., then froze them. I didn’t need them for a few days so they remained in the freezer. I had cut them into different sizes so that they would fit into nooks and crannies easily. The day that I needed them we used two different coolers. One was a regular insulated plastic cooler the other one was a Yeti cooler. We packed both coolers with our frozen goods and used plenty of the gel cells as we could fit in the coolers. The trip took a total of about 22 to 24 hours. At the end of the trip, our goods were still frozen solid, in both coolers, and the gel cells were still frozen solid as well. When it was time to put them away, we laid them out in one layer on a clean kitchen tea towel under a fan for a few days until completely dry. I put them in gallon zip lock bags and stored them until we needed them again and began the same process again. I soaked them for 3 to 5 minutes in a large dish, adding water as needed, soaking only as many as I needed. Yeah, it is a great investment but you need to follow the manufacturer’s instruction or you could run into problems. Thank you.

Stays frozen
These work really well. Can be folded into thirds in freezer so as to reduce space. Stay frozen solid for about 1 hr outside not in direct sunlight. 4-5 hrs inside a cooler at the beach. Highly recommended.

Works well
Easy to use. Just soak in water 5 minutes and it puffs up. Then just freeze. I like that sheets can be broken down into smaller pieces so you can use in smaller containers. I used them in my suitcase to keep chocolate from melting on my flights from west coast to east coast. They were still frozen after 18 hours and can be re-frozen and used again. My chocolate made it without melting. Perfect. I’d recommend.

Don't buy
I was so excited to use these, but was only able to use twice and then the dry ice, dried up and was no longer usable. Waste of money

WOW! Great Performance for a Very Small Price!
How can you give this anything less than a 5 star rating??? I got 25 sheets of 12 pockets for under $10 Dollars! As usual, the negative reviews are really just operator ignorance! I almost hurt myself laughing at the person who gave these a 1 star negative rating because this person was mad because it wouldn't freeze. The picture showed a "DRY" sheet that had Not been prepared! I use these all the time in place of ice or bulky re-usable hard plastic freeze packs to keep my food and drinks cold. If you do decide to cut the sheets into smaller portions, Be Very Careful to cut them exactly down the middle of the dividing space. If you cut too close to the edge of the seal, They can separate and leak Goo! I leave them in the 12 pocket sized sheets that they are produced. They are perforated at those increments, they fold easily around items and they lay flat or stand vertically in your cooler or lunch bag. I have never had any leakage or failures from these. They do the Job they are intended to do. My drinks stay cool and my foods that will spoil without refrigeration stay fresh and cool all day. What else should they do? These are Cold Packs, Not Ice!

A little disappointed
The size of the ice packets were good. However theY started to defrost quicker than expected.

Not what I was expecting but VERY good!
Admittedly, I did not thoroughly understand what these are. I thought they were similar to "Blue Ice" packs with squishy gel inside. They actually arrive as very dry, very thin, small packets with something inside that expands when hydrated. After hydration, they are frozen and they work very well as ice packs and are fully re-usable. I'm very happy with how they worked out!
